I've only had it for 3 months and it is the best. I don't know why I hadn't purchased one 30 years ago.  Anyone looking for a new coffee maker should spend that little extra money and purchase one. One thing you should know is that you should always purchase the BUNN coffee filters made by BUNN, because it brews so quickly that if you use a regular coffee filters it tends to overflow and you may get some grinds in your pot. It is nice when you have unexpected guests, you can offer them a cup of coffee, and it will be ready and very hot in just 3 minutes.  No more waiting 20 to 25 minutes for a pot to brew.
