drhenwood says "Proactiv-- great for others" about Proactiv Solution Acne Treatment

With all the hype surrounding Proactiv I was hoping that the blemishes on my face would just dissapear when I used Proactiv. I found that instead it dried my skin out and made my face itch. Whether I am allergic to something in Proactiv or not I do not know. I just found that it was making my skin blotchy, dry, flakey and extremely itchy. I couldn't use the spot treatment because it hurt my face once I put it on and gave me little red bumps. I only used it once and sent it back because if it was an allergy I can't use it and if it wasn't an allergy after the reactions I had I wasn't going to use it. So everyone else may be able to use it but not me. I have heard that other people have found that it does cause severe dryness of the skin. I guess I will just have to find something else to battle my acne and hope it works. With my upcoming wedding I want to have that perfect skin that every bride dreams of.
...

drhenwood says "Crock-Pot is great for parties!" about Crock-Pot Crock pot BIG ONE

I have grown up with crock-pots and LOVE them. Crock pots are so handy when you are going to a party and need to bring a dish or even if your just getting off a late shift and know you are not going to want to cook when you get home. I love being able to put things in the crock-pot and walk away without the fear that my house is going to burn down or I am going to burn dinner. I frequently take my crock pot to parties with food so that I can bring hot food. The only downer to the crock-pot I have is the fact that the lid still can come off. I know that there are crock-pots that have locking lids, but I have yet to get one. My favorite thing about crock-pots is that I know I won't be burning dinner. Having a daughter, full time job, and a house to maintain makes a crock-pot make sense. I also love that I can prepare dinner before I go to work and when I get home from my shift it is ready to eat and all I have to do is grab a bowl!
...

drhenwood says "Clearblue Makes getting results Clear as Day" about Clearblue Easy Digital Pregnancy Ttest

I have taken the tests with just the lines on them and those make it so hard to understand sometimes. Between one line two lines or getting too much pee on the stick and voiding the test you end up more frustrated than when you started. Clearblue Pregnancy Test is so nice because you don't have to worry about lines or getting too much pee in the stick. It absorbs the right amount as your pee stream hits the absorbant area and sucks it up to the place that tests for the hormone that tells you when you are pregnant or not. I used these tests to determine if I was pregnant with my daughter and the ease and clarity it provided made it easier to show to people in my excitement. The simple word Pregnant made a worlds difference. Many of my family members took pictures of the test and because it was a word and not some lines it was better. I also found it great that I was able to find out so early in my pregnancy that way I could get on my prenatals quicker and guarrantee that my child...
...

drhenwood says "Twilight the Movie -- Left Me Empty" about Twilight - The Movie

After reading the books and becoming infatuated with the characters in the book I was nervous about watching the movie. I know books are never like the movies and most times fall flat. Unfortunately Twilight the movie did. I was not happy with most of the people chosen to play the characters. I wouldn't have picked Kristen as Bella. She doesn't look fragile enough, maybe it is because she is new to the hollywood thing but I didn't feel like she connected with the character enough. I could tell she was playing a part, not being the person. Hopefully by the second movie she will have a better way of intwining her character with herself to make it more believable. Also Robert Pattinson has the features that I would expect but he comes across as shy or timid. He needs to be more sure of himself, cocky almost, at least this is how I read him to be. His love for Bella and torment for the need of her blood should be an afffliction almost like pain, but he made it come off as unsteadyness...
...

drhenwood says "Twilight is the Best book I have read in a long time!" about The Twilight Saga Collection

I hadn't heard of Twilight until the last book was available, and since I have always been into Vampire-type things such as movies, books, and what-not I decided to read the first book. I read the first chapter and I was hooked! The intriging way the writer was able to capture and describe things to the reader was amazing. I am one of those people who when I read I visualize an image like a mini movie for just me and the way she wrote this book was so fantastic. I ended up reading the whole series in a matter of 4 days. I couldn't put them down. The intensity drew me in and didn't let me go. I feel the only problem I have is that it is only a 4 book series. The emotions in the book felt so real and felt myself as part of the story. The uniqueness of the vampire traits made it feel like this could happen in today's time. Not all darkness and dismal, loved the creativity of the writer to be able to modernize the vampire world. To show that not all vampires have to be cruel and unnatural...
...

drhenwood says "Pantene's Blonde Expressions Smells Great!" about Pantene Pantene blonde expressions

When I recently dyed and highlighted my hair, I bought Pantene's Blonde Expressions for Highlights because it doesn't add color deposits, and I didn't want that. I really like the smell of the product, but all pantene smells good. The only thing is I can't see a difference in my highlights and the shampoo really feels like it dries my hair out. I have switched it up to see if it was my hair damaged, but no other shampoo has done that. It also doesn't feel like my hair is getting clean, but that instead it is just lathering up and making my hair feel coarser than usual. I really like Pantene products and I am thinking of trying the other products they have for colored hair to see if it is just a formula issue. The conditioner made my hair soft again, but my hair still was harder than usual to brush. I have thick curly hair and maneagability is a key reason I stick with a product. The scent is really good though!
...
