I decided I wanted a new machine that had easier ways to embroidery work.  After reading about many many different machines I settled on the Brother HE-120.  It is a wonderful machine, very easy to use and learn. It does so much. The cost was very reasonable.  It sews beautifully.  Of course using a 35 yr old machine and then moving to the new technology is a big jump. I am impressed with Brother.  The only think that is  a bit hard is winding the bobbin, and threading. I love the threading cartridge. It's nice and easy to thread the needle. However I have had to reload it several times to get it to thread the needle.  The bobbin winder is another minor problem for me.  It's just a bit hard to get everything just right to wind the thread on the bobbin.  I did not take any lessons in use of the machine so am pleased how easy it was to set up and start using....
