      <description>&lt;p&gt;We got this Panasonic KX-TGA1018 phone system to replace another brand (don't recall the brand name), and we have had no problems in the two years that we've had them. Other than one of them needing a battery change, which we have yet to do. It will hold a charge for a long conversation, but won't charge to the &quot;full&quot; line. Our old system was always picking up static and other strange noises as well as picking up the occasional conversation on a neighbors phone, which led me to wonder how often they were listening in to our conversations as well. We have had neither of those problems with this system. Also the range is much better enabling us to walk outside to pick up the mail at the street or to sit in the back yard while on the phone. I have walked at least 500 ft. from the house without losing connection and I think it would go much further, but have had no reason to test that theory. We've stopped picking up random conversations from the neighborhood, and have had no static or other...&lt;/p&gt;... </description>
