dismalgrin says "Sanford Brown got me out of a bad place." about Sanford Brown College

For the past year it has been one bad thing after another going on in my life. My fiance left me, my children were taken from my home by the state, and to top it all off my little brother passed away from a heroin overdose... in my home. I bottomed out when that happened. I didn't see the point of going on with life because it can seem so pointless to always be failing in life. In the midst of my depression my mom was desperate to find something that I could be involved enough in to get out of my misery. She drug me to Sanford Brown College and took the tour with me. To see her jumping around and getting excited for me to do this I kind of felt obligated to give it a try.

From day one this has been one of the best choices I've ever made (or my mom has made for me?) This is a college that deals almost exculsively with older returning students who have a lot more going on in their lives than just chilling at school. They involve the whole person in everything. Pull us out of...
...

dismalgrin says "Makeing Money with a site similar to Myspace- Winner!" about Mypage5

What would you say if I could offer you a site that is very much like myspace, but you get paid for every action you make on there! Comment on your friend's profiles... paid for that. Make a blog entry... paid. Comment on blogs... paid. Upload a video... really paid. Join groups... paid! You can decorate your profile too, even though you don't get paid for this action is still is very fun.

Minimum payout is at 50 dollars on this site, so once you make it you have some nice money to spend on something fun. But, interacting with others on mypage5 is just plain fun anyway. I reccomend this site, not just for the pay (although, okay, that is pretty nice just by itself) but because it is a really fun community. Don't get me wrong, I like myspace too. Those apps are pretty cool, and mypage5 hasn't duplicated that quite yet. But, I have been a member of quite a few paid social networking sites, and mypage5 comes the closest to that old favorite myspace.

    So, head on over...
...

dismalgrin says "Mylot is 100% awesome- just can't say it better." about mylot.com

People like to say that if you want to make money online, mylot is not the place to go. They also like to say that mylot is a lot like myspace... I say these people are both so wrong. Mylot is basicly a messageboard that you get paid for. But, you have to know how to use mylot correctly to get good pay for your work. Many people think that you can go on write a few words in reply to people and you are going to get paid for your contribution. Okay, so you will still get paid... but it will take you a long time to get to minimum payout of 10 dollars that way.

The thing you need to understand about mylot is that they are trying to encourage quality discussions. They want you to put some thought into what you say. In other words, the person you writes a 3 paragraph response to 1 post a day is going to get paid better than the person who write 30 4 forward responses. I can guarentee that my method will provide you results. How? Well, my first month as a member I made 27 dollars...
...

dismalgrin says "Purell, for when you can't kill germs fast enough" about Purell Instant Hand Sanitizer with Moisturizers Aloe and Vitamin E 2 oz

I have a confession to make, my best friend is a germaphobic mess. She is also the mother of a child younger than my youngest. And, well, I think that when she puts on her glasses she is really inspecting me for any creepy crawlies that might be stuck under my nails or clinging to my arms. Okay, all seriousness coming to the forefront here... I do want to protect those I care about. So, I keep hand sanitizer with me at all times. Notice I didn't name a brand... yet. The reason being, well, I'm cheap, but with my cheapness comes a price. Dollar store sanitizers stink! They work in extreme emergency's (yes, I have some stashed in the glove compartment of my car) but, when it comes to picking up my best friend's infant, or eating out at a nice restaurant, this is not the smell I want lingering on my hands!

2 oz bottles or Purell hand sanitizer is the best thing ever invented! I keep this tiny little bottle in my purse (next to the tissues and band-aids) and whenever I need it, it's right...
...

dismalgrin says "Account Now made it possible for me to make money online" about Account Now - master card

I was first introduced to Account Now when I discovered that my writings could be used to make money doing freelance work online... there was just one problem, I needed a paypal account to get paid for my services. And you need a bank account if you have a paypal account. I don't trust banks. On more than one occasion I have had money taken out when it should have been deposited, money withdrawn with I signed a cease to withdraw form. I broke up with banks years ago. It is not a relationship I wish to continue. But, unfortionatly, money is not a relationship I can cut off so easily. So, I began a simple search online for 'prepaid credit cards' I knew that local banks offered them, but I wasn't really in the mood to walk into the house of the banks and tell them that I needed just a small piece of our relationship back. So, when Account Now popped up on my screen and boasted of being easy to work with not only paypal, but also income tax returns and state checks as well. I figured...
...

dismalgrin says "Neutrogena Rapid Clear hurts so good!" about Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Eliminating Spot Gel

I discovered Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Elminating Spot Gel in my mother's bathroom! My mom has given me a lot of crazy advice over the years and sometimes I look back and shake my head at some of the things she has told me to do. I mean, but she never delt with facial hair issues herself, so how was she to know that women should not shave their upper lips with a dry razor to rid themselves of this plague!

My sisters, on the other hand, on the other hand have the low down on all things facial care and I suppose they are actually the ones responsible for having this miracle worker in the cabinat. Stress makes me break out like crazy and the larger the stress... the harder the break outs to control. When my brother passed away you would think that the ensuing break out fest would be unbeatable! My sisters dabbed a bit of this ointment onto my zits the night before the funeral. Ouch, but it did burn! (not as bad as the day they held me down and plucked my eyebrows, but it did...
...

dismalgrin says "Swedish Beauty Dangerously Dark got rid of my stretchmarks." about Swedish Beauty Dangerously Dark Bronzing Tanning 8.5 oz

The first day that I walked into my local tanning salon I was quite the novic. I was anxious and impressionable and could have been talked into buying just about any kind of junk. The lady at the counter handed me some goggles and then she pulled the bottle of Swedish Beauty Dangerously Dark Bronzing Tanning lotion out for me. I looked at the price tag, more than a little horrified. But, she pointed out that this product has hemp in it and it could retain the elastic in my skin and keep me from looking like some of the rather dried out tanned people I have seen.

As I tanning lotion it was nice... there are some places on my body that no amount of tanning lotion or other fancy products would help me tan properly. But, the real power in this product is that not only did I get some very healthy feeling skin in the bargain, but it also ended up pretty much removing my stretchmarks. I was delighted to find this out and now I use it as a regular tanning lotion and not just as something...
...

dismalgrin says "DHC Velvet Skin Coat is the face you wish you had." about DHC Velvet Skin Coat

I first received DHC Velvet Skin Coat as a sample in a DHC catalog that I got in my mailbox. I was intrigued from the moment I read their claims. It seemed impossible that any product would really do so much. I have even more reason to be a skeptic as well because I seem to be born with the body that none of the scientists bore in mind when they came up with all their 'miracle cures.'

I started by opening the package and squeezed a small dab on my finger. It felt grainy and rough to my fingers. I smoothed it over my face and it really did make my face feel smooth! It erased all of the raises and indentions on my face. I wore it out the first day just by it's self and people kept telling me that my face looked a lot healthier. You could still see my blemishes, but it seemed that there is more to an unhealthy face than blemishes.

The next day I applied it again. I didn't really expect a repeat performance of the day before because it seems that my skin get's used to...
...

dismalgrin says "It takes more than a pill" about Xenadrine Weight Loss Supplement

Xenadrine is something I happened to pick up while browsing the vitamin and weight-loss supplements at my local xmart. I am usually pretty comfortable with my weight, though shedding a few pounds could never hurt me. I have tried many diet pills in the past, including some that the FDA has now banned. I decided to give Xenadrine a try.

Upon arrival home I read the bottle to read the instructions. You are supposed to start out with 1 pill 3 times a day and work your way up to 3 pills 3 times a day! How, that is a lot! I decided to start taking things slow since I am sensitive to caffeine and this is what most of the diet pills now contain since Ephedrine is now banned. I started with 1 pill every morning and that's it. It gave me jitters, and energy to get going... but sometimes I ignored the urges to get up and do something. I would sit and read a book while my body felt extremely jittery. I wanted to get up and clean, do something! So, I rushed around the house doing laundry,...
...
