dguyer says "I can't live without my monitor system!" about Safety 1st Baby Monitor

My twins are now 2.5 years old, and I don't think that this monitor has been off for a day since we moved them into their cribs at 2 months of age. I can't say enough good things about this monitor. With the multiple bases, I could monitor them if they slept together or separate. The range on this set is also wonderful. I can travel as far as 2 houses away and still hear what is going on as if I was in the next room. It has also acted as a great distraction toy during diaper changes and it has survived "twin play"....

dguyer says "Nature's Miracle even works for human excrements!!" about Nature's Miracle Stain & Odor Remover

I first bought this product when our dog was a puppy to clean the floors and carpets when he made "messes." I also found it quite handy when he got sick as well. As he has gotten older, I found that I am still using it. Not for his messes, but the messes the kids make. There are not many things that you can spray on a fabric that cannot go into the washing machine (ie car seats), to get out the smell of throw-up. But I have found that spraying Nature's Miracle on the affected area, has gotten the smell out everytime!! I have also used it when the kids have had accidents on the floor. ...

dguyer says "I love my Dyson!!" about Dyson DC14 Animal Vacuum

I have been using my dyson for over 3 years now. I love the fact that it is a bagless system. It is very convenient to empty. The vacuum is quite heavy and does not between the overhang of the cabinets and the floor. The attachments are necessary to clean in the kitchen. The suction has not decreased in the years that I have used it....

dguyer says "The entire experience was absolutely phenomenal!!" about Rao's - Las Vegas, NV

If you are looking for a gourmet restaurant in Vegas, where you can actually recognize the foods that you are eating, I would recommend checking out Rao's. We were celebrating a 30th birthday and it was an excellent way to do it. From the wine list to the dessert, the entire experience was wonderful. Our waiter told us the history of the restaurant, offered recommendations, really made us feel right at home. We started with the mozerrela in carozza covered in the best marinara sauce I have ever had, had the liguine in clam sauce, grilled shrimp, pasta a la vodka, and the gnocchi. We finished with a cannoli and some after dinner drinks. The experience was well worth every penny that we paid for the meal!! One recommendation, try to get an earlier reservation (ours was at 9:30pm). By that time, they had run out of a few of the popular menu items.
...

dguyer says "Safe and easy, coming from a mother of twins." about Evenflo Triumph DLX Convertible Car Seat

I am a first time mother of twins trying to get by as best as we can. But when it comes to a carseat, I took my time to find the right fit for our family and our car. We have a Toyota Highlander and a Jeep Grand Cherokee and the car seats work in both of those cars. Being that both my husband and I work and share driving responsiblity, we needed to purchase 4 car seats, so value was of the utmost importance. Our twins were about 6 months old when they were big enough to move from the infant carrier to the convertable seats. They were a little small when we first started using them, but now 3 months later, they fit in them with still some more room to grow. We still haven't reached the milestone where they can face forward, so I can't speak for that aspect.

These carseats have met all of our needs and I would recommend them to any parent.
...

dguyer says "Reliable and safe for toting my infant twins EVERYWHERE!!" about Toyota Highlander - 2004

I purchased this car prior to having children, but with the intention of having a family. So when I did my research, safety and reliability were key factors in my search. The Toyota names speaks for itself in reliability, but I wasn't sure about the model of the car, since it was still fairly new when I purchased it. As soon as I test drove the vehicle, my decision was made that I loved the car, and just had to figure out how to pay for it. When I sat in the car and looked around, I noticed that I didn't have the "normal" blind spots that had while driving other SUVs. It was a perfect fit for my body type and frame.

Well it is 3+ years after purchasing it. I now have twin infants, a 2 year old dog and I still love the car. The car has enough room for car seats, the open trunk for the dog and the roof rack to hold all of the luggage. I haven't had to do anything to the car except for normal maintenance for wear and tear. It does OK on gas for an SUV, but there is now...
...
