destabooty says "Great lasting product." about Fisher Price Newborn to Toddler Portable Rocker/Bouncer Seat

I recieved this rocker at my baby shower for my second son. (although its the more updated product then pictured) http://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-H0640-Fisher-Price-Infant-To-Toddler/dp/B0002ZOI9W

It's a great durable product. Both boys love it. I actually think my older son gets more use out of than my baby boy, who is almost 5 months..lol I hated how minimal use we got out of the bouncer with my oldest son because he was such a big baby. I was worried about the same thing with my second. Luckily we found and were given this item. I love that it's made with toddlerhood and siblings in mind.
...

destabooty says "EXCELLENT CARRIER" about Moby Wrap

After an unsuccessful try at BW'ing with my first son, and a try with the Kozy Carrier, I decided to give BW'ing another shot. I ordered a Moby wrap online and when it arrived I was VERY intimidated by the length of it. A few people had told me that I would have to try it out several times before I would be able to put this on the right way. Once I finally gathered the courage to try it, I immediately loved it. My son fell asleep as soon as I got him in it. It was a lifesaver when I needed to get stuff done around the house and he was happy because he was being worn. I wore him almost everyday and I loved wearing him when we went grocery shopping.

The only problem I really had with this is my son started out as a big boy, almost 10lbs, and by 4 months he was over 16lbs and it began to get uncomfortable. ALthough I didn't get to use this carrier very long, I would glady use it again next time around. I love it and its great for new baby wearers!!
...

destabooty says "Stiff material" about Kozy Carrier

I bought this carrier before my son was born. It was my intro to babywearing. I was nervous to use it for the first time and kind of intimidated by the long straps. After my son was born, I tried it around the house a few times. I couldn't get him to 'froggy' his legs as hey say. He didn't like it and he was a 10lb big baby boy so it wasn't because he was too small. The panel is very long and high which makes it hard for baby to look out. The shoulder straps were very bulky and padded which I thought would be a plus but it made it difficult to position them properly and stay put....

destabooty says "Not worth it" about Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Baby Bottle

I breastfeed my son and was in the market for some bottles that he can take so I can get out of the house for some mommy time. He hated every bottle I tried and someone had recommended this bottle to me because the flow would be more similar to the breast flow. Well, not only did It not make a difference to my son it didn't make a difference to me. It was just like a regular bottle with more parts to clean.

Whether or not the ventilation system actually makes a difference, I don't know. But I don't like how it is advertised that its similar to the breast flow because it is just like any other bottle....

destabooty says "Not age appropriate" about LeapFrog My First Leappad Learning System

I bought this for my son for Christmas when my son was one year old. I bought it to try and help get him into books as I had tried reading to him before and he wouldn't let me read to him because he was too interested in turning the pages. So I figured this electronic book system would help out with that because of the noise. He could have cared less about this item. The age recommendations on it is 9-36 months. Eh, Not even close. This item actually turned him away from books and he really wanted nothing to do with them after this. I tried for a whole year to get him to even acknowledge this 'toy' and he refused. I finally donated it to good will. I know of other moms who have also complained about the age appropriate-ness of this product.

I was very dissapointed in this product as I had paid a hefty price (it had just come out) and the cartridges are $20 a pop. As a single mom (at the time) it was very hard....
