desiab says "A great way to see Disney on a budget." about Disney's All - Star Movies Resort - Lake Buena Vista, FL

We have made two sojourns to the land of the Value Resorts at Walt Disney World Resorts. I admit that the first time was purely to appease the children and to give the allusion that I am not a resort snob. — — I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this resort. Maybe it was just anticipation for the Deluxe Resort to follow or seeing the All-Star Movies Resort through my children's eyes. Either way I made the reservations for our second stay willingly and I confess that the kids weren't with us for that stay. — — When we approached the counter to be checked in by a very friendly Cast Member, I had a sense of trepidation that the process would be painful. It was just the opposite in every way. The woman who worked to get us situated went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable with our room assignments and without prompting brought in a manager to tweek the reservation. — — The ground of the All-Star Movies Resort is...

desiab says "An exciting companion to the Cricut by Provocraft!" about Design Studio by Provocraft

For a very long time users of the Cricut have asked for the ability to plug the Cricut into the computer and cut out their own creations. ProvoCraft listened and last year release software called DesignStudio. You are able to use the program to create unique combinations of shapes or words, plug your Cricut into the computer with a USB cable, and Voila instruct it to cut. There are definite features that we have come to expect in a graphics program that Design Studio is lacking, but it makes up for that in other ways. — — This program allows you to create titles and words by welding the individual letters together. You are also able to be creative with using pictures intermingled with the letters. Cardmaking is a snap when you are able to lay out the entire card with the words on the front or designs on the side and cut. — — Design Studio is available as a free trial version or as the full program. The trial version limits you to only be able to cut...

desiab says "A Scrapbooking Essential!" about Cricut

If I were on a desert island and could only have one scrapbooking tool, the Cricut personal electronic cutter from ProvoCraft (or its big brother the Expression) would be what I would take. — — Since getting my Cricut and Expression I haven't bought any scrapbooking embellishments except paper. The Cricut allows me to cut titles, embellishments, cards, boxes, and more in sizes ranging from 1 to 5.5 inches to use on my scrapbooking layouts, cards, or other projects. Because the machine only weighs 7 pounds it is portable and can be taken to crops and scrapbooking retreats. — — If purchased through an authorized dealer the Cricut comes with the George and Basic Shapes cartridge. During the black Friday sale at Wal-mart, special bundles were for sale with a second mini cartridge--Keystone. Some of those bundles may still be floating around your local Wal-Mart, so read the box carefully. — — While the cartridges can be pricey...

I am a popcorn connoisseur that loves Dale and Thomas popcorn! The website periodically offers free samples and it was after such an experience that I became hooked. I have only every received one order that was not fresh, but with a call to customer service a new shipment was on its way with a bonus for my troubles. — — With all of the divine flavors of sweet or savory popcorn it is easy to find something for everyone. —...

desiab says "StumbleUpon is an addictive way to pass the day!" about StumbleUpon

I discovered StumbleUpon when I switched to the Firefox Browser and I am in strong like with the concept. You create a profile of the things that you are interested in and StumbleUpon directs you to sites that match. I have been directed to some fun sites that I would have never found on my own. StumbleUpon also offers a filter so that you can set the limit on adult content. — — My con with the site is that over time I end up clicking on sites that I have seen many, many times through StumbleUpon. — — Overall I like StumbleUpon and will continue to click away. — —...

desiab says "E-rewards is a simple way to earn rewards." about e-rewards

I joined E-rewards many years ago and I continue to do the surveys because of ease and simplicity. I receive quite a few invitations within a week and it is easy to add money to your account. I have not had any problems with my currency being immediately credited to my account. — — In the last three months I was able to redeem for discount coupons for flowers and gifts, but therein lies my only con. With e-rewards most, if not all, of the rewards are in the form of a discount. You purchase so much at a participating site and recieve so much off of your order. The reward is treated as a discount and can not be used in conjunction with any other code or coupon. I would rather the rewards be in the form of a gift certificate that I coud use as I saw fit. Also, there are few companies that participate in the redemption portion, so your options are limited to only a handful of sites. — — —...

desiab says "Passporter is my Walt Disney World Bible!" about Passporter's Walt Disney World Guide

After trying several other books, Passporter's Walt Disney World by Jennifer, Dave and Alison Marx is the only guide book I buy when planning a Walt Disney World vacation. The guide book comes in either the spiral bound or deluxe. Either one is great, but the deluxe offers you the flexibility of rearranging your Passporter to your likes and needs. — — This one guide book has everything an avid Disney planner could need: —...
