delirium86 says "A blast of winter freshness in a bottle" about Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Pure-Castile Soap

Ah, good 'ol Dr. Bronner. If you have never been introduced to his products, the Peppermint Liquid Soap would be a good place to start.

First, if you're concerned about your health and the environment, you're gonna love this product as all oils and essential oils used are certified organic. The plastic bottle used is made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastics. Aside from that, when possible the rest of the ingredients are bought through fair trade.

According to Dr. Bronner's website, peppermint oil is a mild stimulant so expect it to revitalize your mind and awaken your senses. (I know a good shower with this soap has helped get me going on many sleepy mornings!)

It comes in a variety of different sizes: (prices taken from drbronner.com where they offer free shipping with a minimum of $20 purchase!)

* 2 oz -> $2.49

* 4 oz -> $3.75

* 8 oz -> $5.75

* 16 oz -> $8.99

* 32 oz -> $14.49

* 1/2 gallon -> $26.99

* 1 gallon -> $49.99

Aside from being very economic, the soap is very concentrated, so even......

delirium86 says "Overpriced oily water" about Jonathan Create Curl

This product has got to be the worst high end styling product I have ever used. I saw this being sold brand new at a garage sale, so I thought I would give it a try without reading any reviews or being familiar with the line in general. Before I tried this, all I knew about Jonathan Antin's line was from his Bravo show, Blow Out.

When I finally tried this, I did my usual towel-dry, then I scrunched up a small amount on the ends of my hair and waited for it to air dry. When it had finally dried, I was surprised to see that the curls were not even, as one side of my head had hair in waves and curls, and the other side hung limply and felt like straw. It dried part of my hair out and made the roots greasy. I had never had this happen to me before, and the worst part is that I tried this out on a day when I had to go out of the house... I couldn't even find a hat in time to cover up the mess that was my hair!

I'm just really glad that I did not get this at a department store and pay $26 for......

delirium86 says "Nicely scented, moisturizing, and non-greasy" about Alba Coconut Milk Body Cream

I first purchased this product about a month ago at Walgreens and it was being sold for $11.99 but I was lucky enough to find it on clearance for $5.

Being an immigrant from a tropical country, I absolutely love the scent of coconuts as it reminds me of home. Plus, if worn correctly it can give a person an exotic air. I have tried a lot of coconut skin creams before and at worst, it can smell really funky and off but at best it can be a really nice summery scent. Also, coconut oil has long been used to moisturize skin, so products that use this, give an added moisturizing benefit.

This is one of the rare products where I really do not have and cannot find anything negative to gripe about....

delirium86 says "The toothbrush that could possibly put an end to all dentists" about Sonicare FlexCare 900 Series Electric Toothbrush

I just got my Sonicare today and after having tried it out three times, I must say I'm impressed. I'm the kind of person who thoroughly enjoys playing with the latest gadgets, so when I heard about this, I knew I just had to give it a shot. Especially since I've realized that I must find a better way to whiten my teeth without the use of chemical bleach because it causes my overly sensitive teeth a good amount of pain.

I got this Sonicare for free from Buzzagent.com, which is a good thing because I would never have bought this for $179. I have rule where I try to not to pay anything more than $30 for a toothbrush, electric or not.

I first tried this using the Go Care setting, which is essentially a quickie routine lasting about a minute and there will be a quadpacer signal every fifteen seconds. The quadpacer divides the teeth into four (upper-front, upper-back, lower-front, lower-back) and this will allow all of your teeth to have equal cleansing time.

The first thing I noticed is that it......

delirium86 says "Proof that worshipping God can be the best time of your life" about Oasis Christian Center - Los Angeles, CA

The Oasis Christian Center is one of the best churches I have ever been to. I love walking in every Sunday and seeing the energy and sincerity that people put out while worshipping God. The music is amazing and you can honestly see that while the songleaders are professionals, they still strive to lead others to worship God instead of falling into the trap of performing on stage.

The messages are very empowering, especially towards women and young people. But if you're looking for in-depth bible study, perhaps this isn't the place for you, as most of their messages tend to be easy to understand, although they do seem to be making an effort to get into hot topics and deeper issues.
...
