dee061105 says "An enjoyable game with an interesting story line" about Xbox 360 Enchanted Arms

Enchanted Arms for Xbox 360 - this game has both it's upside and downside. For those gamers looking for a laid-back, go at your own pace game, this is it. The turn based battle system is great for gamers like me who are a little slow at the controls. The plot is interesting and there is plenty of humor injected in the character conversations. I find myself playing this game for hours at a time and not realizing where the time went. However, the random battles sometimes happen a bit too often which gets old FAST and the plot is very linear (though there are some side quests). As far as the linearity of the game, it's pretty much the opposite of the Elder Scrolls games. Bottom line, this game is worth playing through, but will probably just sit on your shelf after you're done playing it once. Try borrowing it or buy used if you...

dee061105 says "Nice flowers, but I won't use them again." about ProFlowers.com

ProFlowers had a great website and tons of choices. Both my mother and mother-in-law loved their flowers (lilies and tulips, respectively), which arrived in bud form and began to open a day or two after arriving. Shipping near Mother's Day was pricier than normal, but I was able to get free shipping on my mother's flowers - make sure you check for their limited selection of arrangements with free shipping. They apparently do not deliver on Mondays. My biggest complaint with ProFlowers is that they are affiliated with Easy Saver. After purchasing flowers, if you click a link and enter your email address to get a $15 off coupon, you are in effect signing up for the Easy Saver service and they will begin to bill the card you used to purchase your flowers. This is stated on the website, but easily overlooked by people (like me) who are eager for a bargain. All in all, they have nice flowers but I will stick with other services such as...

dee061105 says "Love it! Would never think of switching" about USAA Banking and Insurance

I've been with USAA for 8 years now, with their car insurance for over 3. It's so easy to add a vehile, change your plan, print insurance cards, everything! I even get discounts for being a loyal customer and because my parents were USAA members. They automatically reduced my rates when I turned 25 and have just been an excellent company to work with. While I haven't had to make a claim yet, based on my experience with all of the other USAA departments, I have full confidence that they will process any claim quickly and easily. They even have 24 hour service for...

dee061105 says "A kitchen essential" about Swiffer Wet Jet

I love the Swiffer Wet-Jet. It's quick, cleans well, and is very easy to use. It's a lot less hassle than taking out a mop and a bucket of soapy water. My only complaint is that the cleaning solution has a bit too strong of a smell and it can get a little nauseating. It's great for quick clean-ups and daily maintenance, but if you really want to get a deep-clean, then go ahead and use your mop. The solution also dries very quickly, which is handy when you don't want puppy paws and kiddie feet marking up your newly cleaned floor. —...

dee061105 says "Convenient, but pricey." about Stamps.com

Stamps.com is a great service - but only if you use a LOT of postage and make many trips to the post office. For the average person, you should just buy your stamps at the post office or grocery store. However, for the small business owner who has a lot of things to mail, the monthly fee might actually be what you would otherwise spend on gas and the value of your time for trips to the post office. In addition to the monthly service fee, you also have to invest in printer ink (which, as they point out, is cheaper than postage meter ink) and labels, which you can purchase at an office supply store, or from Stamps.com directly. You also have to be very careful to load your labels in properly. If you make a mistake, then you lose the money you just paid for that postage. You can try the service out for free (but you need a credit card to do so), and they'll give you $5 in free postage to try it out. The free software is easy to use and has lots of options, whether you're...

dee061105 says "Excellent party game!" about Nintendo Wii - Guitar Hero III

Guitar Hero III is an excellent game. This game has been a hit at every party we've held this year, and people prefer it over Guitar Hero II. It is easy to jump into, even if you have never played it before. With several levels of difficulty a newbie can have just as much fun as a seasoned player - and you won't get called a geek for playing this game well. In addition to the multiplayer, the "career mode" is a fun one player option. The only problem with this game is the requirement for multiple "guitar" controllers if you want to do multiplayer (we've gotten around this problem by borrowing controllers). You can play with a standard controller, but it just isn't the...
