ddpeppergirl says "Kaplan University gave me SOME knowledge, that is it." about Kaplan University - Online Degrees

I graduatied from Kaplan University with an Assotiates degree in Paralegal Studies. I did learn a lot but I do not feel prepaired to enter the field.

I am having a hard time realizing just how much online classes are. I didn't expect to have a total of 20,000 put into it by the time I graduated. I think they should have more transferable credits. I had 70 credits at the University of Florida and they only transferred 10.

I think I was "roped into" the whole thing because I got a call and taked to a repersentative who made me feel like going back to school and as a Paralegal was a light decision. I had just been pondering the thought and by the end of the conversation I was not only signed up, but signed up for a degree I had never even considered, it was just suppose to conform to my life style, according to the representitive. This being so because I could work from home.
...

ddpeppergirl says "The Apple Macbook is a beautiful laptop inside and out." about Apple Macbook

The Apple Macbook is an amazing computer. I understand the popularity of it. I have noticed they even have movie stairs using it in the Movies all the time as an advertizement and it has work because it is the computer to have.

The issue I had with the Mac is that I could not adjust from using a PC. I wanted to get the Mac for its exilent media editing programs and the abiiteis, which far exceed that of a PC. Unfortunately I was unable to adapt after using the PC for so long. In the end I sold my Apple and got a PC which even left me ahead money wise because the Macbook is a bit pricey.
...

ddpeppergirl says "Lancome Renergie Lift SPF 20 has great coverage, but greasy." about Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20

I use LacomeRegengie Lift SPF mostly because of the SPF. I have had a hard time finding a make-up that has SPF and is still good coverage. I use other Lacome products and am always pleased. The price is a bit high so I don't use it everyday. I switch between other make-ups that aren't as greasy but have no SPF. I would say that it is something I treat myself to rather than something I just buy as soon as i am out. I think the high price is not warentted.

It is my oppinion that it is worth it to buy Lacome Regenie Lift 20 SPF to protect your skin while covering your flaws.
...

ddpeppergirl says "The best thing about the Toyota Echo is the gas milage." about Toyota Echo - 2001

The 2001 Toyota Ecko is amazing fuel efficent. I always use it if I am going on a long ride. During this resesion I am very greatful that I have it. That being said the encoviences that it has causes me to drive my other car instead of the Ecko when ever I can.

The small size trunk is often a problem. I can not even fit a jogging stroller in it. I have no options in it because I couldn't afford it so I don't know if it is an option or part of the design but the back seats don't fold down. The fabric is nearly impossible to clean. The view of the speedometer is horrible. It is higher up on the dash board in a bubble like cubby. I have never seen such an inconvienet spot for a speedometer. When driving in it you feel like you are in a box and could be crushed by something as small as a motorcycle. Pick up is very slow.

It is a dream to park, fitting in the smallest spaces. It also makes wonderful U-Turns.

I think as far as looks that it is very cute.
...

ddpeppergirl says "I use Huggies because they are the most effective brand." about Huggies Snug and Dry

I use Huggies and only Huggies because they hold the most and seem to be the most comfortable diapers. They offer bulk when I have not seen other brands do so. My thought is that they are more cost efficient even though they cost more that generic brands because you can change the diaper less there for use less diapers. The only thing I would change about Huggies is the option to have prepowdered diapers or a light sent light I noticed pampers does. I wish there was a wider varity of characters on the diapers.
...

ddpeppergirl says "My son had a great time with it from 6months-20 months." about Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Fun with Friends Musical Table

The fisher price laugh and learn was a toy I because it had music, helped him learn to pull himself up on something with round corners. He loved putting things in the bowl and it helped him learn the name of fruits. Also when you spin the bowl located in the middle it sings songs, one of which is the alphabet. So not only is it a fun game small children start to learn basic things. Many people I know have it for their kids and are very pleased.

Fisher Price Laugh and Learn was one of the most popular toys in my household, and we have a lot of toys. It was easy to clean and very sturdy. It's legs come off every easily so that a smaller child can use it. It helps for storage. My son was much more fond of the toy once he was old enought for me to put the legs on. It was one of the first things he used to pull himself up to standing position.

I plan to keep this toy for when I have small visitors.

ddpeppergirl says "I have never seen or heard of a better carseat!" about Britax Roundabout

This carseat is so comfortable my son falls asleep everytime he sits in it. He just looks so comfortable. Also the safety features really give me a good feeling. I price is steep but I think it is worth every penny, no matter your budget. It fits kids up to 100pounds so it helps make the cost even to buying a buster. It is big and takes up a lot of space in the car and would be difficult in a small car.
...

ddpeppergirl says "Magellan is hard to use and unable to do what I needed it to." about Magellan - Roadmate 1200 GPS Device

The Magellan Roadmate 1200 GPS Device kept redirecting me to a resturant when I didn't want it to. It also wouldn't even name the restaurant. I did say I wanted to know the restaurants but automatically guiding me there without asking was confusing. I had to ignore the directions.

It is easy to type in start and end locations. It has to be held in the right position to get proper sygnal. It holds charge fairly well. It is a good size, not to big and not too small. Overall I would suggest trying another GPS.

My husband is much more of a techie and says that it just doesn't have as many functions as some of the other GPS's. He wants to upgrade. He also said it is not very user friendly.

I would recomend to a friend that while Magellan name brand may be good the Magellan Roadmate 1200 is not the GPS to go with. I don't know enought to recommend a better GPS but I plan to do research on the product.
...
