dcshelter says "Great Search Engine." about MSN Search

I really like MSN Search. Google is pretty much synonymous w/ search, so MSN gets overlooked sometimes. I really like how easy it is to submit a new site, and how user-friendly it is to do this. It doesn't take weeks to get your site listed, either. It may take as little as a day, or even a few hours. It also seems to me Google pulls up a lot of inappropriate or porn sites - although you can adjust this setting. But MSN doesn't pull up nearly as many, so I don't have to adjust a...

dcshelter says "Shipping is really really slow." about One-Click Appliances

Almost 4 weeks ago I ordered a portable washer online. Everything seemed fine - the order was processed w/i a few days. However, I noticed - too late - that apparently they don't ship the items until 2-3 weeks after the order is processed. I thought, okay I'll wait, as long as they do ship. — — Well, it's been almost 4 weeks, and no washer. I have tried calling w/i the specified hours; I get a machine that tells me call volume is too high, and rather than put me on hold, it tells me to call back later, and sends me to voicemail. I finally received a response to my email - fortunately they did respond; bad news is, estimated time is another 10 days before it's shipped. — — I wish that I had paid the extra $10 and ordered from a store that would have shipped within a few days....

dcshelter says "Fast, Affordable, Safe" about Walmart.com Music Downloads

I've downloaded songs from a few different stores, and Walmart.com seems to have as good a selection of songs. It's easy to download w/ the step-by-step instructions, and you can re-download any song withing 3 months, so if you lose a song, or something happened in the download process, your not out any money. You can also call toll-free for help. While I don't shop Walmart.com for anything else - s/h is outrageous for most items - I do like downloading music. It's really fast w/ DSL or high-speed internet, and it's easy to find your download...

dcshelter says "Now I enjoy giving." about igive.com

I started using igive to support my local animal shelter. I've used it 3 times now, and it's great. I like the pop-up window that displays even if I don't go through the igive website. I have never given money to a charity before, but igive makes it so easy and painless that I feel good about shopping, knowing it will contribute to a worthy cause. I live in a small town, where donations for the shelter can be a problem, so this is a good way to make a difference without hurting my budget. I also found some great new stores on the igive list that I'd never visited...

dcshelter says "I love this camera." about Casio - Exilim EX-Z75 digital camera

I didn't know what to expect from a camera priced in the low hundreds. A 7.5mpx camera for a few hundred? But the camera is awesome. Great for website or printed photos. Love the self-timer feature that takes 2 pics in a row. — — I wasn't impressed with the video. It's a standard low-resolution video size 640x480. Decent, but not great. But after the awesome pics, it's easy to expect the video to be better quality, too. Because you can't use this camera for everything - you need another video camera if you do a lot of videoing. — — Bottom line: As a still-shot digital camera, it's...
