dboitnott says "It's the ONLY reason I was able to sleep!!!" about Bebe Sounds Angel Care Movement Sensor Baby Monitor

I was SO NERVOUS when I had my first child...so much that I KNEW I wouldn't be sleeping for months because I'd be the crazy mom hovering over her child with a mirror to make sure she was breathing. I had some friends recommend this monitor and seriously...it's the ONLY reason I got any sleep. I was so comfortable knowing that if anything happened her monitor would sound, alerting us to come and come quick. I also used this monitor (same one) for my second child and have never had any technical or mechanical issues at all.

This monitor is actually my staple gift to give when a new friend becomes pregnant for the first time. It is a SAVOR and such a relief to know you can sleep while the monitor takes over. Also, the pad is so thin that it doesn't disrupt the mattress in the least and we have also taken this on all r vacations and just used it as a regular monitor when the baby is in the pack and play since there is the option to turn the 'motion' part off.
...

dboitnott says "Fast, convienient, and used through two kids with no issues!" about Medela Pump in Style

When I had my first child 5 years ago I did massive amounts of research for the perfect Breast Pump and after months of looking and comparing pros and cons there was only ONE pump that stood out from the rest...the Medula Pump in Style. It was pricey, I admit, but because of it's convience I was able to stick with breast feeding after I went back to work and save SO MUCH MORE than I would have on formula. I actuallt pumped for a full year and my first daughter received all those benefits. When I became pregnant with my second daughter I just replaced the 'milk' parts and off we went again. I never had an issue with the mechanics or anything. It also looks like a large brief case so it wasn't obvious that that's what I was carrying around.

I have recommended this pump to every single solitary one of my friends who is looking to breastfeed but will need a pump as well. I have not had one come back complaining...they in turn have recommended it themselves. Nice job Medula!!! ...
...
