daycaremom26 says "My baby is riding in the ultimate comfort and style!" about Britax Marathon Car Seat

I bought a Graco seat for my son when he was an infant and was never happy with the overall performance. With my daughter I did a bit more research and found the Marathon to be a good choice. It is a bit pricey, but was well worth the money. My son now says when he grows up, he'll get a car seat like his sister. He's so envious! It is easy to adjust the straps and they don't twist like other carseats. She looks so comfy. The only drawback is that with it's size, I can no longer fit another passenger between the carseats in the back and I have a mid-size SUV....

daycaremom26 says "A candy bar masquerading as health food." about General Mills - Fiber One Oats and Peanut Butter Chewy Bars

I tried these while pregnant because I needed more fiber. The taste was excellent and it was nice to eat something new and quick. I had seen these recommended on Good Morning America by a dietician! I was disappointed that beyond the fiber, you might as well be eating a candy bar with the sugar and artificial ingredients. Why is it so hard to come by truly healthy...

daycaremom26 says "Very yummy, but disappointed it's not healthier" about Pepperidge Farm Whole grain swirl bread

I was excited to see a whole grain version of the swirl bread. I have a home daycare and kids of my own and need to have quick breakfasts. The kids love this bread plain or toasted with butter. I am a very healthy eater and feel like I don't want to feed my children high fructose corn syrup on a regular basis. It is frustrating that a product like this can't also be all...

daycaremom26 says "Not what I was expecting" about SOYJOY - Soy Snack Bars with Dried Fruit

I am a health food nut and love to try new products. I am also a nursing mom who needs to eat all day long. I'm busy and I look for easy food to grab while trying to make every calorie count. I have tried all of the flavors and only liked the raisin and berry flavors. My son thought they were awful. They definitely have run a good campaign getting the product out there through free samples and good coupons. I don't love them enough the buy unless I have a good coupon for them. Even then, they are hard to find. They also are a very small portion with higher fat and calories than I would like for such a small...

daycaremom26 says "It's always sold out!" about Trader Joe's Organic Frozen Broccoli

This broccoli disappears in our house very fast. I usually buy 3 bags when I go. My 2 year old always chooses this for his veggie and will eat an adult serving. Even my 10 month old eats it! It cooks perfectly every time and never is mushy. My husband can't tell the difference between the fresh broccoli or the frozen. I only wish that it was in stock more often....

daycaremom26 says "I definitely don't feel like my child's safety is coming first!" about Safety 1st Bed Rails

I bought this product for my two year old. I am normally impressed with Safety First, but this time was very disappointed. Maybe it was a fluke, but the rail didn't last a month. Shortly after securing the rail, it pops up to unlocked. My son climbs over it to get into bed, but that shouldn't break it after 3 weeks! —...

daycaremom26 says "I can't believe I ever lived without this" about Kirby Vacuum Cleaner

I didn't intend to buy a new vacuum when the Kirby man came to our house. I was hoping just to get a free rug cleaning. Once I saw how the product performed, I had to buy one. I had no idea how much dirt was in my home. I have a home daycare and this handles the mess with ease. I loved that they offered a trade in since we already had a very expensive vacuum that didn't work half as well as this...
