curli5 says "Great for reflux." about Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Baby Bottle

When my son was first born my friend recommended that I purchase these bottles right away. I bought the starter kit and opened them before my son was even born. First I couldn't believe how many parts there were to one bottle. Each on has a bottle, a nipple, a filter, a storage cap and a regular cap. There also little brushes to clean them.

Every night after using these bottles I would was them by hand. I wouldn't let anyone else wash my son's bottles. I was a control freak about it. But then I started getting tired. It too much time to wash them every night. So I went against went everyone told me and I put them in the dishwasher. I put them on the top rack and they turned out fantastic. Needless to say I have yet to wash another bottle by hand.

These bottles are suggested for babies who have reflux or any type of problem with digestion. I figured between my husband and I both having terrible stomach problems, our son was bound to have some type of digestion issues. So I went straight......

curli5 says "Great for any toddler who loes music." about Jack's Big Music Show

Over the summer my son was taking swimming lessons at a friend's house. She happened to have had Jack's Big Music Show on TV. My son stopped what he was doing and was mesmerized by this show. I asked my fried about it and she said it was called Jack's Big Music Show and I could find it on Noggin. (Cablevision channel 123).

The first thing I did when I went home was put this show on. I automatically DVR's (or Tivo'd) this program to record daily. I wasn't sure my son was going to still be interested in it. As soon as the first episode started playing I could see my son's eyes light up.

The show is full of music, singing, dancing, skits, etc...His favorite segment is called the "Shwartzmen Quartet". This is when Barber Shop singers come in. This show is all done my puppeteers. I find myself watching as well.

The main characters are Jack and Mary. Jack has a clubhouse in his backyard where all of this takes place. His dog plays the drums. They have famous and not so famous real life singers......

curli5 says "Great for one child." about Volvo XC90 - 2007

Over the summer I decided to trade in my Volvo S60 for the Volvo XC90. I need more room than the S60 had to offer. I have a 2 year old son and needless to say he comes with a lot of stuff. Between the stroller and the diaper bag I needed more space.

I had been eyeing the XC90 for years and this gave me the perfect excuse to get it. I even traded my other car in early because I wanted it so badly.

I do like my new XC90. It is so much more roomier than the S60. Since I only have one child it is perfect. It comes with a 3rd row but I don't need it yet so I put it down. It is great because it lays flat. I looked at the new Lexus SUV and their 3rd doesn't lay flat. I thought that was horrible. What a waste of space or should I say lack there of.

One thing I do regret not purchasing with my new XC90 was the DVD headsets. I had to buy a portable one and shove it in the back of the front seat. But every time I drive my son somewhere I have to move passenger seat forward and tilt it forward. Very......

curli5 says "Do not buy this stroller." about Maclaren Triumph Stroller

I purchased this stroller from Babies R Us thinking that it would be a great lightweight stroller instead of that heavy travel system. I first noticed that I hated this stroller was when my son and I were in the parking lot of the bank and I could not get it to close for the life of me. It was the summer and about 90 degrees outside. I was panicking. I had to call my husband so he could talk me through closing it. How terrible. That was just the beginning. Every time I closed this stroller I would pinch my fingers.

Another thing that I do not like about this stroller was the fact that my son could not sit upright all the way. He would always be in the reclining position. It didn't go all the way up. That is the design of this particular stroller I guess. I don't understand why though. My son likes to look around and see his surroundings so that annoyed him as well as me.

The front of the stroller has just a bar. No cup tray or snack tray for him to put anything on. The bar was ok to keep......

curli5 says "Very entertaining for your little one." about The Wiggles TV Show

I spent the whole summer watching The Wiggles. I don't know what made my start putting it on for my son but I am so glad I did. Whenever he would eat his breakfast and lunch I would put on an episode for him to watch. He was absolutely mesmerized.

His favorite segment is the Wobbly Camel. He would dance to this song and it was hysterical. My in laws couldn't believe how much he enjoyed this show. Other segments he loves are Big Red Car, Rock a Bye Your Bear, and the Little Wiggles.

Last year at this time my son was in the hospital with RSV. I was panicked. Luckily the children's play center had a copy of The Wiggles and my son watched the same tape for 5 days straight. He stayed in the hospital crib watching that same tape over and over. If it wasn't for that tape of The Wiggles I don't know how we would have gotten through that horrible time.

To this day my son loves The Wiggles. My mom bought us a DVD player for the car and the first thing I did was run out to buy Wiggly Safari. He loves......

curli5 says "Best diapers - no leaks!" about Pampers Cruisers Diapers

When my son was first born I had no idea which diapers to buy. I never even changed a diaper before. My sister gave me Luvs that she had leftover from her children. I tried the Luvs but they were horrible. My son leaked every night. Then I moved onto Huggies. They were ok but not my favorite. Someone recommended that I try Pampers Cruisers.

Love them! I cannot say enough good things about these diapers. They are so comfortable for my son, especially now that he is 2 yrs old. He never leaks anymore. Even when he runs around the house a thousand miles a minute he does not leak. Wonderful.

Be careful where you buy these diapers though. I have found them to be the best value at Target. You can get a value box for $26. Babies R Us is pretty expensive even on sale or with a coupon. You can spend up to $36 on a value box.

Pampers also offers a promotional points system. Each package contains a sticker with a code on it. You enter the code at the Pampers website and you collect points. Once you......

curli5 says "It's horrible." about Peg Perego Aria Single Stroller 2006 Rubino

I have had so many strollers I don't know where to begin. My son just turned two years old and I have already owned 4 strollers. I hate each one of them for different reasons. I thought this one was going to be my answer. I was wrong. I hate this stroller as well. Don't get me wrong, I do like one aspect of it, let me explain. My son is on the bigger side and this stroller has plenty of room for him to move around. But because he is on the bigger side that makes it difficult to move this stroller around in the stores. The wheels are awful!!!!! I can't turn this thing around without breaking a sweat. It gets to the point where I start sweating in order to push him around. The one thing I actually like on the stroller is the 5 point harness does have a release so my son can sit forward and see everything. The problem with the harness is that I have it all the way extended and it barely fits my son when he is wearing his wearing coat. Also it is very difficult to......
