csuever says "Love these" about Nabisco - Triscuits:Cracked Pepper & Olive Oil

I absoluty love this version of Triscuits. The are great to use with mild flavored toppings that are healthy but bland, such as fat free cream cheese and hummus. It also peps up home cooked (low-sodium) meats. They are also good along with a salad. My husband and I eat them plain also, but my favorite way to eat them is a subsitute for bland bread. They add both the spice and the crunch. We have been eating way more Triscuits since they introduced the flavors....

csuever says "Energizes" about Diet Pepsi - Max

I have bought Pepsi Max mostly because there have been either coupons for it or promotional deals at the grocery and drug stores. I do like it for the energy boost it gives, however, the taste is not my favorite. I prefer the sweetness of Diet Mountain Dew. It has more caffeine plus ginseng as a bonus, so it is even more invigorating than the Diet Mountain Dew. I usually prefer Diet Coke, Coke, as far as colas go, and I think Pepsi Max has a stronger cola taste than regular Diet Pepsi....

csuever says "Needs some other vitamins" about 7-up - Mixed Berry Plus

I think I like the tropical fruit version better, but this is second. I prefer both of them over just plain diet 7-up. I think that vitamin D and maybe some others should be included, since the calcium may not get absorbed or be usable unless eaten with complimentary food. I often will drink a carbonated beverage as a taste treat without any food. It is a little reminiscent of mineral water, but what can you expect? Calcium is a mineral. Overall, I like the idea. It is a nice flavor change.
...

csuever says "Lean pastrami" about Hillshire Farm Deli Select Lunch Meats

Whenever I want a beef lunchmeat, I look to Hillshire Farms. The pastrami is my favorite and is sufficiently peppery. Unlike other beef lunchmeats Hillshire Farms' versions of corned beef and pastrami are actually pretty lean. They also always taste fresh and usually store well unsealed in the refrigerator for later use. Sometimes beef lunchmeat sliced at the grocery deli will have a bad taste to me. The entire package of 6 oz. lunchmeat usually has only about 200 calories, so it also is diet friendly and can be easily eaten without waste....

csuever says "The original" about Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels

These are probably not the best chips money can buy, but they are definitely a good quality brand at a good price. If you sign up at verybestbaking.com, you can get a free magazine sent to your home that has some Nestle coupons inside. I always buy real chocolate chips, and while some generic brands are passable in cookies, these are good enough to eat by themselves if you have a dark chocate yen....
