Reviews by csibid http://www.viewpoints.com/aboutme/csibid Fri, 07 Mar 2008 17:18:29 GMT Reviews by csibid csibid says "This camera tops them all!" about AIPTEK - HD DV Camcorder http://www.viewpoints.com/AIPTEK-HD-DV-Camcorder-review-df4b4 <p>Not long ago I had my curiousity stirred when I saw something about the Aiptek HD Video camera.  After seeing a demonstration of it on line, I went ahead and bought it.  The price was a little over one hundred dollars, and if it lived up to what I had read, it would be worth it.  Well, in two words, IT DID! </p><p>First, the camera is smaller and lighter than any I have ever seen.  It fits in a purse of a pocket.  It also fits beautifully in my hand.  When I have it in my hand, I feel confident and ready to take any picture.  The balance and the control are very impressive.  The LCD screen is large and accurate.  I can quickly switch between still and video as the moment dictates.</p><p>The pictures are as clear and perfect as any I have ever seen.  Whether they're taken in bright or low light makes little difference.  I have a picture I took of a ski resort at night from 3 miles away through a window, and it is breathtaking.  Other friends have tried to get that same shot with their cameras...</p>... Fri, 07 Mar 2008 17:18:29 GMT http://www.viewpoints.com/AIPTEK-HD-DV-Camcorder-review-df4b4 csibid 5 csibid says "wanting it kept me awake at night; having it still does!" about Apple - iPod Touch http://www.viewpoints.com/Apple-iPod-Touch--114063-review-0d730 <p>The ipod Touch is the answer for anyone wanting to access the internet as easily as they access music.  It finds wifi, even as I drive at normal speeds down city roads, and connects instantly, providing me with near perfect internet pages.  With all my favorite pages shortcutted on the desktop, navigating quickly is a snap. </p><p>Music and video are equally satisfying.  The videos that come with it are very good, and downloading them is a snap.  Some videos are offered for free on itunes!  Shuffling through albums is like going through my cd cases. and the rolling feature of displaying songs and artists is very efficient.  I love it.  </p><p>The new programs of maps, weather and mail make cheking these things very simple.  The map will stay in the Touch, with the route highlighted until you delete it, even after leaving  the wifi.  In all, it is well worth the price.</p>...
