cruzntopless says "Quick fix to dog's arthritis symptoms" about Deramaxx 100MG 30CT Bottle

Recently, my 11 year old black lab named Shadow (who had already been on glucosamine and Vetrin pet aspirin for arthritis) took a spill down our back deck steps. This left him unable to use his hind legs. A visit to the vet revealed nothing broken or damaged, and she attributed his fall and subsequent limited ability to arthritis pain. So she started him on Deramaxx. Within 2 days he was able to walk again, although still with some limited mobility. We thought this was a miracle and were very pleased. Within 3-4 days, Shadow started vomitting pure acid, the poor thing couldn't keep water down. And when he did vomit his water, it was dark yellow. (This was the indicator to our vet that it was stomach acid). Much like humans, the anti-inflammatory line of medicines is very harsh to digestion. Our vet recommended giving him Pepcid AC (human form). After a few days of this, we discontinued the Deramaxx and he began to eat again. But it was a catch 22, he needed to walk......

cruzntopless says "Awesome little device" about Magic Bullet Blender - High Speed Mixing System

After a recent visit to my sister, who just purchased her Magic Bullet, I came home and HAD to have one. I was greatly interested in them when they first started appearing on info-mercials, but was unwilling to spend $100 on a mini blender. Now that they have dropped into the $50 price range ($40 w/ a 20% off Bed Bath and Beyond coupon), I decided it was time to have one. Of course, you can make smoothies, and the possibilities are endless, but I have tried numerous things. Yesterday I made a batch of chicken salad in less than 3 minutes. They work great, superfast and cleanup is easy. The recipe booklet included has recipes for hummus, salsa, guacamole, party drinks like margaritas and daquoris, etc. I can't wait to try them all.

...

cruzntopless says "Major monthly savings " about Verizon FiOS Internet Service

When Verizon Fios was recently introduced to our area, my husband and I jumped on it. I have to say, my main motivation for switching from Comcast was the $90 per month savings that I was going to experience to bundle my phone, (which was already w/ Verizon), my cable TV and my internet (both of which were w/ Comcast). Although, there was some adjustment period to the new format of television, I actually enjoy the expanded channel options, and additional DVR features. For example, from 1 HD DVR box on my primary TV in the living room (2 standard boxes on the TV's upstairs) I can view programs that I have DVR'd on the TV's upstairs. That is a cool feature to me, as I am always "taping" movies that my husband is not interested in. As a non-technical person, I have not noticed any better picture quality, but I was pleased w/ quality of picture w/ Comcast.

As for the internet . . . I have not noticed major increases in speed for everyday surfing, but large file downloads are completed...
...

cruzntopless says "Waste of time and money" about Chem Dry of Spotsylvania - - Fredericksburg, VA

We have 4 dogs, and I had several stains on my upstairs carpet and area rug in the living room. The Chem Dry trucks have a dog on the logo and advertise a PURT system which stand for pet urine removal treatment. This treatment was to pull urine and odors from the carpet, padding and sub flooring. We received an approximate price quote for this service via telephone and scheduled the appointment. Upon arrival, the technician advised that the price quote would be several hundred dollars higher, but we agreed, considering that the telephone quoter could not see the scope of the job.

The service promised vaccuming and deep cleaning of carpet, application of the PURT chemical, grooming of carpet and then we opted to pay for an application of a scotch gard type chemical to prevent future stains. The carpet looked acceptable when the technician left, but once it began to dry, the stains began to resurface. The urine odor was stronger when he finished than when he started. The technician...
...

cruzntopless says "Amazing first class service at an incredible value" about Massage Envy - - Fredericksburg, VA

Massage Envy revolutionizes the spa/massage experience. They offer spa quality massages without the "fluff" that you receive and PAY for at a spa. This is the reason that they can offer 1 hour massages at $39 per session. They also offer a monthly membership plan, that includes a free massage each month, plus unlimited additional treatments at the member rate of $39 vs the non member rate of $65. This means that you can purchase gift certificates for friends and family at the member rate. I have had numerous spa massages and I find that this one is just as good. Incredible value!...

cruzntopless says "Ease, convenience and NO LATE FEES" about Netflix

Netflix is a revolutionary idea. I have been a member of Netflix for 5 years now. For a monthly service fee, you can have up to 3 DVD's out at once, when finished with it, you return it in the postage paid envelope (NO SHIPPING COSTS EVER) and they send you the next movie on your list. No late fees EVER. I've had a movie out for as long as 4 months and nothing was ever said. Of course that meant that I wasn't getting a replacement for it, but life was pretty hectic at the time. It is convenient and a total VALUE. My husband and I were always paying late fees. ...

I joined My Points in 2001 and have utilized the site almost daily since then. They send out emails advertising products or services from their partners and you can oftentimes find a good value. I am an avid online shopper, and I always go to the My Points website for things I am going to purchase, so that I get the points offered by that particular merchant. In the 6 years that I have been a My Points member, I have redeemed my points for the following items:

a Walmart gift card toward the purchase of a patio furniture set ($200)

a Home Depot gift card towards the purchase of a grill ($200)

a webcertificates.com gift card toward the purchase of 2 pair of Birkenstock sandals ($175)

a Sears gift card toward the purchase of an upright freezer ($250)

The redemption offers available are endless. You can redeem points for restaurant gift cards, travel offers such as airline miles or hotel stays, many store cards, etc.

If you need to send flowers, access My Points first for a link to...
...

cruzntopless says "Impeccable service in a first class atmosphere" about Holland America Line - Zuiderdam Eastern Caribbean

The ms Zuiderdam was a great ship and I truly enjoyed my week. However there were some points that I would have changed if I could. Holland America is traditionally known for being a line that attracts older passengers. I found this statement to be true. It is more upscale and less relaxed than a Carnival ship. In the 20-40 age group, I recommend sticking with Carnival for more trendy activities. ...
