crmc says "Love it!" about Rival Crock Pot - Smart Pot 6-quart 38601

Couldn't cook for a family of five and do all the required driving without it! It's the perfect size. it's easy to clean. Works perfectly - food cooks evenly. It can be programmed so the food is ready exactly when you want it - even when you're not there to turn it off. You don't have to worry about food burning or scorching. The only thing on my wishlist for it is that you could use the liner on the stovetop to brown foods before slow cooking them. You do have to dirty two pans - and I'm a very lazy cook! The controls are easy to use and understand - without reading a massive instruction booklet. It's one of the most-used appliances in our kitchen....

crmc says "Most used appliance in the kitchen" about KitchenAid Mixer - ProLine 600

This machine runs our kitchen! We use it almost daily. There are tons of attachments available. It's sturdy. You can truly multi-task. While you're mixing the cake you can be slicing the strawberries. It has a nice big capacity - you can double and even triple recipes without any fear of it spilling over. I have the flat grey color so it looks really cool on the counter top. I got an extra bowl so I can have one chilling in the fridge while I'm still using the other one. It's great for kneading dough and whipping cream - both of which are a chore to do by hand. Saves tons of time. I've been using them at one home or another since childhood - never had anything break - never needed service. Couldn't be better, couldn't ask for anything more from it....

crmc says "Completely disappointed!" about Nissan Quest - 2006

I have been completely disappointed with my Quest. Things are constantly going wrong. The 3 passenger doors all had to be taken apart becasue they wouldn't open properly - ever since then they've made an annoying rattling sound. The light is always coming on saying I have a flat tire but the tire's fine. It's got the worst turning radius of any car I've ever driven. My Suburban was easier to park! The dvd player is in a location that's just about impossible to access from anywhere but the driver's seat - and then you've got to pull over & have the flexibility of a yogi to see what's going on with the thing. It's big inside, the gear shift console is cool looking and the automatic door feature is nice. (Though why aren't both back doors automatic?) In the way back the flimsy storage box covers collapse whenever any weight gets put on them. In short - it's the last Nissan I'll buy (it's the third we've had). The quality has gone down, the service is impossible - the parts are always on back......

crmc says "Always the best colors!" about O.P.I. Nail Lacquer

Whenever I need a cheap little pick-me-up I get a new nail color. I've tried them all. Right now my toes are blue. OPI always has the newest, craziest colors. And the product is great. Stays on well, doesn't chip and is easy to apply. In my neighborhood it's available everywhere - not just at salons. I can get it at the beauty supply as well as drugstores. My only wish is that they sold it in smaller bottles - I never use it all up & I'd love to have room in my polish drawer for more colors! It's more expensive than the cheap drugstore brands - but between the quality & the color selection it's worth it!...

crmc says "Love it1" about Apple - iPod Video White (30 GB) Media Player

I finally broke down & spent the money. My kids all had them, but I couldn't justify spending so much on myself. I'll admit it I was wrong! I use it all the time - at the gym, waiting in the doctor's office, during physical therapy. It's almost full - & I'm thinking about getting a second one. I bought my husband a turntable that converts music into MP3's - so we're going to take all our old albums and get them onto our ipods. Lots of old music isn't available on itunes so we'll do it ourself. As an old-timer it took me a little while to figure out how to make the thing work. I do sort of miss having a simple on and off button - but I'm adapting! I wasn't thrilled with the headphones - but I got some really nice Sony ones that are much more comfortable....

crmc says "Cute knobs to jazz up a nursery!" about Knobelties Daisy Knob

Added instant color to the room. Put it on the dresser, desk drawers and closet drawers of cheap furniture & it instantly had a decorator look. Easy to attach with the screw that came in the package. Lots of colors available. We did all one color, but now I see it would have been cute to do all different colors. It's a basic style that won't look dated & won't look too baby-ish as she grows up. We'll also be able to change the curtains and sheets and still use the knobs. They weren't the cheapest ones available but they are some of the cutest. Plus they're made in the USA and handpainted....

crmc says "Expensive - but worth it!" about Le Creuset Cookware

I've heard about these for years, but I couldn't justify spending the money. Then I tried them out at a friend's house.Wow! So worth it! They heat evenly, are heavy weight and things don't stick. They clean up easily and look great in the kitchen....

crmc says "great value for the money" about Sunbeam Bread Machine 5891

I bought this on a whim as an extra Christmas gift on sale at Wal-Mart for about $25. What a deal! The whole family has gotten involved - even friends of our teenage son are baking bread. The machine is easy to use, easy to clean and the bread is delicious. the recipes included are limited but the internet has more recipes than we can ever bake in this lifetime. I;ve figured out how to adapt regular recipes too. The only downside I see is that the loaves are that funny bread-machine shape instead of traditional loaf shape. When aesthetics matter I just use the dough setting & take the bread out & bake on a pizza stone in the oven.

Responding to the listed cons - It does take up a fair amount of counter space - but no more than any other bread machine. I haven't had a problem mixing in the flour & I'd say if the bread is hard or hard to slice the problem is the recipe, not the machine

I know there are fancier machines that make traditional shaped loaves - but they're way more money. This......
