critchberry says "I love this concept" about Freecycle

I love freecycling. My community has an especially busy group and I usually only visit it lately when I have something that I want gone. Most people I have communicated with have been super nice and I feel really good after giving things to them. Like when I gave our baby swing to this cute pregnant girl... or some old aerogrammes to kids in a homeschooling stamp club. But I do admit that I have picked up some really good stuff too when I have had the time to watch the posts and respond right away. You can't get your heart set on anything because most of the good items get claimed almost immediately. It also makes me feel part of the community, in this weird online way....

critchberry says "Great way to get extra gift cards" about MyPoints

I've been a member of my points for over five years now, and I've earned quite a few gift cards. My points have added up slowly since I don't often buy things that I wasn't planning to anyway. But I will say that I have learned about a lot of awesome sites just by reading and clicking through my MyPoints emails. The only mistake I made a few years back was using my points for an Omaha Steaks "gift certificate." It came with a very pricey catalog that had nothing I could use my gift certificate for without spending at least $20 more. I ended up waiting so long that it expired and I have regretted losing those points ever since. But don't let my bad luck hold you back... they offer lots of popular gift cards too....

critchberry says "Very funny and family friendly." about Evan Almighty

I accidently "bought" this movie because I kept it too long from blockbuster, but now we want to keep it! It is funny and clean, which is a huge surprise these days. Steve Carrel does a great job and says a couple halfway serious lines that made the movie for me ("He chose all of us"). I guess I'm just tired of anti-Christian movies coming out so this one really makes me cheer. Please give us more movies like this, Hollywood!!!...

critchberry says "Can't believe my skin looks this good." about Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals Complexion Make-up

I waited too long to try this product because I thought it cost too much. It is sooo worth the money. Very good coverage. Very easy to apply. And it looks so natural. I will never wear liquid makeup again. The little jars can get a little messy, and I worry that I am wasting some of that precious powder... but I gues it can't be helped. The brushes are also very nice....

critchberry says "Bakes great bread time after time..." about Oster Bread Machine ExpressBake 5838

My husband bought me this bread machine almost 4 years ago for Christmas and I can't rave about it enough. First of all, the bread is delicious. The instuction manual is very clear and precise. It adapts well to other recipes. And on top of that, I have been using it at least once a week (sometimes more than once a day) this whole time! If it ever dies, I'm going out to buy the same one again!...

critchberry says "Great stroller for the money." about InSTEP Safari Double Jogging Stroller

I did a lot of on-line research before buying a side-by-side double stroller, and after I narrowed it down to the InStep and the Schwinn, I bought the InStep because nobody could tell me the difference (besides about $50) and the InStep cost less. We are very happy with this stroller. It pushes like a dream and the wheels really do come off very easily to fit it in our minivan. The cons are that the children lean towards each other as they ride (my kids don't mind it - the 9 month old sometimes rests his head on his sister's shoulder), and the straps seem a little cheap. It is very wide, so be prepared. However, it navigates very, very well. I use it mostly for walking and I love it. Be sure you pick the one with a swivel front wheel. That makes all the difference. I paid about 170, including shipping, and I am very satisfied....
