We were both flying colonels and went from 200k+ miles a year to under 20k. Basically, we could fly on better airlines for far less money and be treated far better than with Delta. The final straw was when we did a vacation and flew back from Honolulu to Portland and they cancelled our confirmed seats and seated me in the back of the airplane and my wife with our 1 year old in the front....didn't make for a pleasant flight. Of course we both had middle seats making it impossible to switch with another flyer. — Lately, delta is the lowest cost airline for many of our flights. The big issue we have with them is that they take 20-30 seconds to reach full brightness.....the bulbs are not a good choice for a location where you turn on a light briefly (like a closet or a pantry). They are great for use in a kitchen or living area. — Better yet, Costco had deals on these not too long ago where our power company picked up about 90% of the cost of these making them a great value. —... I've never seen a riblet in any other restaurant. What is a flat-iron steak? The menu is cheap, but what are you eating? Eating at Applebees is kind of like trying to match up the pieces in the box of banquet chicken to where they came from on the chicken. — I think it tasted decently, but if you are into family style sit-down dinner you may prefer to go to Chilis or to Marie Calendars where you can more readily identify what you are eating. —...
