crazylu says "these tools are so easy to use" about Neuton lawnmower, hedge trimmer

As a person with arthritis, growing older and weaker by the minute, I needed something that was easy to start and to use. My old gas lawnmower, I couldn't start because I didn't have the strength to pull the choke. I also hated having to put gas in it and worry about maintenance of the thing. With the Neuton (by DR Power) battery operated mower, I just charge the battery, put it in the mower and with the push of a button we're cutting the weeds down. I recently added to my inventory, their hedge trimmer and chainsaw - also both run on batteries. So we're being environmentally friendly as well as being kind to me... and I don't worry about my son using these tools either....

crazylu says "SSP does awesome work, saving lives from death row every day" about saving shelter pets

Saving Shelter Pets is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to addressing the problem of pet overpopulation. They have a number of programs, including rescue from kill shelters and transport, Puppy Promises - which keeps unwanted litters out of the shelters, and brings the puppies to homes, as well as spaying the mother dog to prevent future unwanted litters, and their spay/neuter program, which to date has been working in Ohio and Georgia. They have saved thousands of animals so far, and prevented many, many thousands of future unwanted animals from being born. The only negative thing I can say is that not enough people know about SSP and support them - they need more volunteers, more people spreading the word about them. They are a small group, making a BIG difference. I love SSP!!...

crazylu says "energizing - made my old dogs feel young again" about Honest Kitchen Force

I first learned about The Honest Kitchen from the Saving Shelter Pets forum (www.savingshelterpets.com). During the initial dog and cat food recalls, everyone was asking what would be safe to feed their animals? The Honest Kitchen was recommended, and I went online to research them. The food that I purchased is raw, dehydrated food (you add hot water to it before feeding the dogs) and contains no grains. I have 3 dogs, ranging in ages from 5 up to 11. The two older ones, since they have been eating the food from The Honest Kitchen, have been acting like puppies again, running around the yard and playing. I have to believe that changing their diet to non-processed, non-grain food with no preservatives, has made the difference. Although it may seem expensive, they don't need as much of it, and once you add the water you have 2-3 times the quantity that you purchased....
