cowhugger says "Great way to help a favorite charity" about igive.com

I love what this site does and is about. I am able to do my online shopping and at the same time I am able to help out my favorite pet charity and know that they are getting alittle back. I can't always afford to send them a donation so this is a great way to help them out, especially during the holidays. The constant pop up is sometimes annoying, especially when it navigates me from the current page I'm on, but it is a nice reminder that there is a donation percentage available and I like knowing how much is being donated. Overall I think its a great website and a great way to help the animals....

cowhugger says "Don't waster your money on it" about As Seen On TV Lateral Thigh Trainer

I owned this one for a short time and it worked okay for about a month. I definitely did not get the results in my legs I expected. The motions were not as smooth as I hoped. The calorie counter was pretty much useless as it did not seem very accurate at all . The tension knob broke after a month so I was unable to adjust that ( it had no tension at all). I had to use it with an old rug because the stepper left constant grease stains on my carpet. The video that came with it was alittle cheesy and the stepper also got and it was alittle rough on my knees.
...

cowhugger says "Pretty good product for what I paid" about Fitness Quest Tony Little's Gazelle Freestyle Elite

I owned one of these for about two years and it really was an enjoyable workout. I did not notice the results in legs and thighs that the commercials show and promise, but it did help me maintain my weight at the time. After about months it got quite noisy on me as it squeaked rather loudly, but with an occasional greasing it was okay. It was easy to move around and store if I decided I needed to put it away. Mine eventually broke...the bar that when across the from bent and I had to get rid of the machine. I paid about 80 bucks for it at the time, so I think I got my moneys worth.
...

cowhugger says "Took some adjusting but they love it now" about Petmate Deluxe Fresh Flow Pet Fountain

Cats weren't sure about this new contraption that I brought home at first. I wanted to know that the water they were drinking was fresh, and wanted to make sure that they were drinking enough. At first they drank from it while I was trying to set it up, but once I plugged it in they really seemed alittle intimidated by it. I moved there old water feeder bowl next to it so they could slowly begin adjusting to there knew water spot and that it was okay to drink from it. It took less then a week for both of them to take to it and enjoy it. One of them enjoys drinking from the water flowing down the most. They also enjoy watching the water flow. There both drinking more water which is great fr them and I know the water in fresher and cleaner, great for me. Clean up is pretty easy, haven't had any problems yet with any of it....

cowhugger says "Kittens absolutley love them" about Best Friend's Animal Society Crinkle Cat Balls

I have adult cats and kittens and have bought these for both, and have bought both the smaller ones and the larger ones. The adult cats didn't seem to care for them much, and never really played with them. When we fostered the kittens I decided to try and buy the little ones to give them something to play with, their fairly inexpensive so not much lost if they did not like them. Once they discovered them, they just loved them. They will bat them all around the room and chase them, and they will run around the house with them in their mouths. I have noticed that occasionally small pieces seem to be torn off the ball. Overall I love them cause the cats love them....

cowhugger says "Color matched perfectly, hair felt great." about Jessica Simpson 23 inch Wavy Hair Clip

I have seen this product many times advertised on TV and recently in beauty supply shop. I have considered purchasing it many times from both places but kept holding off. I have an 3 weddings coming up in the next 6 weeks and needed to do something with my hair without the expense and time of the salon.

I have medium/long hair, and thick hard to curl hair. I received an offer coupon from HSN and took the opportunity to go ahead and try this hair piece. It arrived very quickly and I gave it a quick try immediately. I LOVE the look. It really looks natural, and couldn't tell it wasn't my hair. Color matched perfectly, and cap was not too big for my head as I had heard in previous complaints. I can't wait to wear it for the first time, hopefully my opinion of it doesn't change after a days wear.

UPDATE: Fianlly got to wear this piece and absolutley loved it! It looked great in my hair and nobody knew it was a hair piece. I wore it with a T. Brattin hair piece and the two together looked great....
...

cowhugger says "Easy to use, colors are forgiving" about Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals Complexion Make-up

Bare minerals is overall a good product. It provides nice coverage most of the time. My only problem with converage is if my face is overly dry, then it appears slightly flakey. Finding the right color was easy, and I am actually able to use two different shades and not have a problem, or look like I am wearing a mask. I also like that putting it on in the mornng is quick, I notonly have much time, but don't like to spen dalot of time getting ready in the morning. It is a bit expensive, and I may try some of the other mineral products now available at drug stores just because of the cost.
...

cowhugger says "Keep away from this stuff. Can I give it less then 1 star?" about Proactiv Solution

My face wasn't too bad when I first tried this, the occasional breakouts, and some persistent acne that did not seem to go away. I decided to order Proactiv and with 3-4 days my face broke out really bad, worst it had ever been. I realized that this might happen as a cleaning of the pores was happening, but it was not getting better, after nearly two weeks I stopped using it, and slowly my skin cleared up. Because of all the success stories and some from friends I decided to try it again, and same results, broke out very badly. Stopped using it. Aveeno or the little bit cheaper Ambi both work great for me....

cowhugger says "Time flies with turbojam workouts" about Turbo Jam Maximum Results Package

I enjoy the videos. I own several of them and I don't feel they are too difficult to follow or to complete an entire workout. Doing the the Learn dvd help understand the moves that Chalene refers to. I don't like dancy workouts and did not think that this one was too dancy, the option to do your own thing and modify is always there. After doing them a couple times they are easy to catch on to. Time seems to pass fairly quickly doing these workouts. Chalene can be alittle irritaing at times, and the music isn't my favorite but a Good workout, now if only I could watch what I ate i might get the results that the informercial promises....
