coolkr31 says "shocked" about Mr. Brooks

I got this movie on a whim through netflix and was pleasantly surprised. I tend to not be interested in this type of movie aka suspense thriller. I am more of a cult and comedy fan but I enjoyed this movie so much! I couldn't walk away. It kept me wondering the whole time and then ending was perfect. It actually got into my emotions and toyed with them. I was very happy with a movie that was this satisfying the whole way through. Worth the watch even if you don't think you like this genre. Brilliant even and dane cook doesn't do too bad in a serious role either. — —...

coolkr31 says "great for casual and pro use" about Canon - Rebel XTi Digital Camera

I love this camera. It was a great price and is VERY travel friendly. It's compatable with great quality lenses and a wide variety of them so it is very versatile for common and pro use. The only thing I don't like about it is that there is no digital display of the shot before you take it, you are required to look through the viewfinder, however, it's more a matter of getting used to this feature. The only time I find it frustrating is when shooting low you have to lay on the ground and being short when I try to get a shot over my head, or on my tripod fully extended I can't reach. I also have had a problem with my hand getting in the way of the flash while holding it because of my hand on the lens for stability. But both are simple problems to solve and aren't due to the camera itself. Overall satisfied with quality and ease of use (modes, review, color settings, compatibility) and best of all the lack of lag. Highly recommended. I'm not afraid to take this anywhere in any...

coolkr31 says "Great for all situations" about Kodak - Easy share Z650 Digital Camera

I love this camera but I am not in-love with this camera. It's great for all around useage, parties, outdoor, indoor, nighttime. The manual feature is great for low-light and artistic shots and takes great pictures just for the sake of taking pictures at events. As far as quality the video is a great feature. the sound and video quality is good however you can't zoom in and out while in video mode. I was also disappointed by the lens cap not staying on from the get-go and friends who have this have had the same problem. It is defintly a major flaw. For artistic purposes as well the low-light options are not so great. The flash tends to wash out everything but using an opaque trash bag to cover it is a nice hack the soften the flash without spending the money on a nicer camera. I love the night shot as well because it brings out beautiful colors except you have to hold nice and still until the second flash. I guess the flash...

coolkr31 says "Great product" about Listerine Instant Dissolving Whitening Strips Clean Mint 56 Each

I love these white strips! I've used a few different brands and this one is by far my favorite. I love that they dissolve, are almost unnoticeable and are super sticky. In past experiences other strips were hard to keep on therefore resulting in 30 minutes twice a day of not talking or sounding stupid and facing them sliding around if you do try to talk. They would also not stay on well and slide around all over the place. I was always fiddling with them and they just weren't comfortable - they were just a pain to use.Sure these dissolving white strips have some downfalls but so did all of the other brands. Leftover residue can be annoying if you are using them on the go but at home it's just another reason to brush your teeth with a whitening toothpaste and get twice the white! These also may not be as strong as some people would like, but if you have major stains it's only logical you will need to have major treatment. Plus they aren't intended for dental work like caps, crowns,...

coolkr31 says "perfect for music lovers" about Apple - iPod Nano Third Generation Digital Media Player

I have the 4gb and i lovee the size and how quickly it responds. I had the first nano and was really disappointed with how slowly it turned off, not a huge deal but can be annoying when your late and trying to get out of the car but have to hold the button for awhile until it turns off, so I love the quickness of this new one. The video quality is also alot better than i was expecting. The only downfall is that it doesn't come in 30gb size but who really needs to have all that music with them at once. I think this i a great product, a kid in my class even bought one after checking out mine and agrees that he loves it. It also works great with itunes and itunes has everything you could ask for. Organization and a huge selection of music, podcats and videos. Much better than other mp3's players. Worth buying for more than just the fact that it's ipod brand. You can also find all sorts of accessories VERY easily which is...

I read this book first in high school as recommended by a truely fabulous creative-writing teacher and was blown away. I then read it again in college and got even more out of the experience and will most likely read it a few more times throughout my life. Always a recommendation off the bat. Good for those who want a read they can truely internalize and examine as well as open their mind to new culture and experience they may never get the chance to hear about...

coolkr31 says "This book will change your outlook on experiencing life" about Tom Wolfe - The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test

This is an honest and exciting outlook on experiencing new outlooks and perceptions of being alive. The life of Ken Kasey after writing "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" and his involvement in life with the Merry Pranksters. Perfectly descriptive and clear on a subject that tends to have muddled, hard-to-comprehend explanations and outlandish theories associated with it. An inside and outside look on reasons for and direct experiences with opening new doors in the mind. Surprisingly rational for a book whose title suggests hippy-dippy subject matter and dragging rants that only out-there, drug users could understand. A recommended read for those who enjoy an inside look on alternative lifestyles or are looking for a read that may change the way you think about your life without therapy style bullsh*t or actual lifestyle changes...
