coolcat0708 says "Blech!! Use only if desperate!" about Neosporin LT Lip Treatment .25 oz

I get cold sores and chapped lips. I always keep my eyes peeled for a new lip balm that might just heal cold sores faster or keep my lips moisturized longer. This neosporin lip treatment didn't do a thing for me. When I first recieved a tube of it, I thought to myself, "Neosporin anti-biotic cream works, so this will too." Boy was I let down.

When I use the ointment, it seems to slide off my face. It was really oily feeling and one minute it would be on my lips and the next it would vanish without achieving anything. So I set the tube aside wondering if maybe my lips had to be seriously chapped or damaged for it to really work. Neosporin is known for going on owies aftera all. But when I did get a cold sore, and tried the lip treatment on it, I had the same results. Only now I had a soggy cold sore on my face from putting the greasy stuff on it.

The Neosporin Lip Treatment doesn't even work as chapstick to keep your lips moisturized. Nor does it work like Carmex to heal...
...

coolcat0708 says "It was okay . . ." about FX Special Effects Curl Booster Spray

I am a girl who wants to find a way to have natural looking, healthy curly hair. I started a mission to fullfill this want by trying new things on my hair. So far the things that I've tried for 'curl boosting' haven't really worked and this is one of them. It says on the bottle that it will enhance the natural body of your hair. I sprayed it on like it says to and waited to see some sort of 'instant' result like promised. All that happened was my short little frizzy hair curled up and I wound up looking like a bush. The spray was nice in the fact that it makes my hair super soft by adding vitamins, but I found it just didn't do what I bought it for. (Oh sadness)...

coolcat0708 says "Very funny, very interesting" about Hitchhiker's Guide

This is one of my very favorite books. It's intelligently written and very hilarious. What's better than extremely funny science-fiction? The main character is someone average and nearly anyone can relate to him which really adds to the humor of the book. The completely random things that happen to an average, almost boring guy keeps you laughing from page one. This mixed with highly ironic events has made this book one of the funniest in the planet. Or should I say one of the funniets in the galaxy? LoL

If you're into humor and science-fiction or just one of the other, this is a really great read.
...

I like books that are different from the average swing of things. This book has a different view and really makes a person think about their lives. The book isn't very long and is perfect for the impatient person who just wants the story to end. It's very detailed and doesn't go on for long paragraphs at a time about nothing inparticular. It's one of those books that makes you think, can make you cry, and is really worth reading....

coolcat0708 says "Perfect for a quiet read." about True Believer

I really loved this book. It was quiet, soothing, and overall, very relaxing. Most of the time I'm one who reaches for the action packed book, the kind that keeps you on the edge of your seat. But every so often I just want to read something quiet when I'm in the mood. I was in that mood when I found this book and I wasn't disapointed. Nicholas Sparks has a way of writing books that really sooth the soul. When you want to read something that appeals to the mind and emotions, this a great book!...

I bought this a few weeks ago hoping to find something to soothe my dry ends. When I applied it to my hair, carefully follwoing the directions, there seemed to be no difference whatsoever. I'm trying to grow out my hair for locks of love and I need to take super good care of it so the person who gets my hair will have beautiful results. My dry hair seemed to eat the liquid up without any real results. It seemed like I was just adding more water to my hair. Frizz stayed and so did the dry ends.

I guess I'll keep looking! :o)
...

There are a few things about this product that are good. I like how the product is leave-in and how it makes my hair soft. I really like the cute little bottle and pump it comes in as well! :o) But the Sleek & Shine claims to tame frizzies and I saw no difference with my frizz problem. I still had a little halo of random hairs that decided they wanted be different from the rest of the hair on my head and stick out.

On the bottle, it also says that you only need to use one pump of the serum. I found that I have to use two-two and a half pumps if I want to get all of my thick hair.

So it's working for now, I'll just have to wait until it's gone to buy another product and try it out. Will it be better or worse? I don't know. I just want my frizzies to be under control!!
...

This new station goes with the JVC Everio camcorders GZ-MG27, GZ-MG37 and GZ-MG77. It connects via USB and allows the camera to transfer data directly to a DVD. Once we hooked the camera up to the station it recognized it immediately and was very simple to create a DVD. The DVD we created played both on my grandma's dvd player and ours and is supposed to be able to play on most DVD players.

I thought it necessary to buy this little gadget because it's hard to get the camcorder to the computer all the time and we all know that when a hard drive get whacked to hard, data can be lost!
...

My husband and I bought this camera as a Christmas present to ourselves this past year. The camera is very user friendly and is mostly self explanitory (we hardly had to look at the instruction manual) I love how small it is and easy to carry around places. My husbands parents live in Peru and he likes to send DVDs home to them every so often to let them know how life is going. This camera makes it easy to do that.

We also bought the Everio Share Station which allows you to plug the camera right into it and burn a DVD directly from the camera (acts as a regular DVD burner as well). That's a nice feature because our computer isn't doing it's best at the moment and I would have to do all the DVD making at work. The camera keeps the scenes seperated and you can choose which you want burned and which you don't.

I love the size of the screen that allows you see what you're filming, it's large enough to tell what you're actually doing! I also like that this camera is a hard drive...
...

I was given this for Christmas and it's pretty good. It keeps my hands nice and moiste while killing bacteria at the same time. The only thing I have an issue with is the residue it leaves on your hands. It's not really a residue you can see, but when you eat something soon after putting the lotion on, you can taste the lotion on your food. Like say you peel and eat an orange soon after, there's this weird perfume taste on the food. Other than that it's great! My husband acutally likes to use it because his hands are super dry and this keeps them moisterized when we are out and about in the cold....

I was actually looking for a different brand altogether and became frustrated when I could only find it online. Instead, I went for this and was thrilled with the results. I put some in my hair after I showered then curled my hair when it was dry and the curls held all day. They even lasted into the night and I woke with a head of messy bed head curls. The curls washed out when I took a shower and my hair was back to the way it is everyday. :o)

I love how the mousse doesn't make my hair frizz like so many others that I've tried. It also felt light to me like it wasn't there at all. I was able to run my fingers through my hair when I was done curling without the hair tangling or losing the curl and the curls were bouncy and shiny.
...

I bought this mascara after all the raves I heard from this website. It's okay I guess. I like the color but I was disapointed with the quality. I applied the mascara as I usually do and all it did was darken and glue my lashes together. I've tried giving it a second chance but had the same result. I hate when I have to work to get my lashes to look full by pulling clumped sections apart. Needless to say, I've gone back to my old mascara that I was disapointed in a few weeks ago and I will continue my search for just the right mascara.
...

I couldn't put this book down. It was a very fast read for me and I really enjoyed it. Every time I fninished one of the three books in this series I was anxiously awaiting the arival of the next in the mail.

The love story was very complex and kept me on the edge of my seat wondering how it would turn out. The action was great and very clear, almost as if you could see what was happening.

I'm always on the lookout for a good clean romance. I hate the ones that get x rated and too mushy. I like action in my books with a twist of romance to spruce it up. This is exactly that and much more with enough twist and turns to keep me guessing to the very end.
...

This is most definately one of my all time favorite childhood memories. I can still remember my mom reading it to us and it was one of the first books in my life.

The story is cute and gripping enough to keep even the most attention challenged child spellbound by it. The illustrations are wonderful, but I remember wondering why there weren't more bright colors in the pictures when I was little.

I was a very timid child and this book never scared me, but I guess it could be scary for some. All in all, this is a book that I have bought for myself and intend to share with my children.
...

I loved the last book in JK Rowlings series. It's funny because a lot of my friends seemed disapointed by it, but I really liked it! I loved how much Harry had changed and how mature he was in end. Book 5 made me wonder if things would work out because all three of Harry, Ron, and Hermione were getting really selfish, but I think that just goes to show that JK Rowling is a good writer and depicts the changing of a teenager really well.

I was really pleased that Ginny and Harry didn't end up seperated in the end. I was also pleased that Ron finally got his act together and treated Hermione a lot better.

Another thing I really liked about her book was how real it was. When fighting a battle of good and evil, not everyone is going to come out okay. I think the author is really down to earth and able to show that in her writings.

All I ask from a book is to keep me enthralled and reading to the last page and this really did it for me!
...

I picked this up for a fairly good price. The Mascara I have is brown so I wanted to get a brown liner. I got the color called cinnabar. It comes in a woody/forest brown colored tube and the liner is one of those self-sharpening ones. The eyeliner goes on really thick and creamy looking but you barely know it's there. It's a rich color and really makes my blue-green eyes stand out.

The only complaint I do have about it is that the tube color was decieving. I was looking for a natural brown color and thought I'd found it by the color the tube was. When I got it home and tried it, I was a little disapointed because it's got a red tint and isn't at all the color of the container. Other than that, it's a great product.
...
