coolaid4ever says "Have it your way - for less!" about Dell Vostro 1500 Laptop

What more could you want - well probably a lot if you are a heavy gamer, but otherwise this is basically the perfect package. Get a much or as little as you want.

I purchase and reccomend a lot of pc's and computer products. I am somewhat the local guru and the vostro is my newest favorite flavor. I had to really dig to find a new pc/laptop that could ordered with xp or xp pro - Vostro was my solution. Vista has so many problems I was almost reluctant to even purchase a PC or any type if it shipped pre-installed.

Plus with vostro I didn't have to spend hours removing unwanted trials and "junk" software. Nicely sized, great display, reasonably priced, fairly durable - A++ Dell.

...

coolaid4ever says "So Simple - Everything should be this easy" about TomTom - One GPS Navigation System

This is just awesome! You can literally be up and running within minutes of taking out of the box. Actually it took much longer to get the Tom Tom out of its package, than it did to set it up.

We tried everything in the world to "trick" it by deliberately not following the prompts. It corrected perfectly everytime. It is really simple to use and the directions are fairly clear. I was a little confused about turning in a certain number of yards. I kept thinking how do I know how many yards I have traveled, then it occurred to me to look at the yardage counter on the device, duh!

The package it came in was merciless and definitely not user friendly - there are some people who don't have the power tools you probably need to get through the tough plactic package.

Overall - band for the buck - this is winner! Not overly complex and gets the job done!
...

coolaid4ever says "Poor Business Practices - Is this New?" about Bank of America - Platinum Visa

I have been a card member for many years with Bank of America. I am pretty all all over it and very rarely have I ever been late with any payment of any type. In more than 5 years I had never made a late payment to Bank of America either. Turns out the date for my Bank of America account fell on a Sunday. I sent the payment on via the internet on the Friday before. Needless to say, they couldn't manage to post my payment that Friday or note it as pending over the weekend, but they sure could manage to generate a $15.00 late charge and a minimum finance charge.

The rude girl I spoke to on the phone refused to waive the charge, but worse than that, she wasn't nice, understanding or really wouldn't even agree with my point that a company should not allow a due date to be set on a Sunday when there is no possible way for postal or banking activites to be completed. My point was that the due date should have been set earlier, then I would not have to analyze my calander to determine...
...
