coachbill68 says "NOT Fast Food" about McDonalds - Odenton - Odenton, MD

Do NOT go here if you are in a hurry. I have never had quick service from this fast food restaurant. Even when I am the only person in line, I have to wait at least five minutes for my food. Come on folks - this is McDonalds. Don't you expect people to be coming in asking for hamburgers and french fries? I could understand if it was off lunch or dinner hours, but it doesn't seem to matter what time I go in there. At least the employees like their job - they are almost always joking and carrying on with each other, obvioulsy not worried about getting me my food in a quick manner. I only go here on emergencies and then only when I try to give them another chance to quickly serve me. Needless to say, I have never been pleasantly surprised. Instead, it is the same old poor service....

coachbill68 says "Great Way To Earn Free Stuff" about MyPoints

I joined Mypoints at least 5 years ago. I have accumulated many, many points over the years. Mostly earned points from reading email and clicking on links, not ordering stuff from the websited. (I don't do a lot of on-line ordering.) Even just earning points mainly by this method has allowed me to earn gift cards used for Christmas presents, birthday presents and for my own use at restaurants. This is an easy way to get stuff without having to give out all your personal information, thus getting spammed over and over. I have never had a problem with them giving out my address....

coachbill68 says "Great Mexican Food" about Plaza Girabaldi - Anaheim, CA

This is a great place for Mexican food. The prices are very reasonable (entrey available for less than $9) and selection is vast. They offer chicken, beef, shredded beef, bean and vegitarian. A fee basket of chips with salsa is provided to start the meal. I recently visited New Mexico, right near the Mexico border, and tried the Mexican foold out there. I was expecting an exceptional meal. However, the food at Plaza Girabaldi, right here in Maryland, was much better than what I got out there. ...

coachbill68 says "Struggled To Get Service" about Cable TV Service

I went with Millenium Cable servcie for the price. I guess it is true, you get what you pay for. The installation took almost one month due to technial problems. This involved the line from outside not being run to the house. Then once they fixed that problem (after 10 days) they didn't connect the line to my outside box. I did, but had to call them back becasue it still didn't work. After several more days delay, they came out and the guy told me they didn't connect the outside line to their outside box, even though it was connected to my house on the other end. Complete incompetence on the side of the installers. At least customer service was helpful and apologetic. They even gave me a decent credit for my aggervation....

coachbill68 says "TIVO is the world's greatest invention!" about Humax - DRT400 TiVo 40-Hour Video Recorder

I love my TIVO. I bought it early, when you could get a lifetime membership vs annual memberships. When this on finally goes bad, I will immediately go get a new one. I don't like that you now have to pay monthly fees or an annual membership for the service. But I guess they have to make money somehow....
