If you want to see the Rock in a great action film, this is NOT the movie for you. Unfortunately, the movie was somewhat difficult to follow. It is an End of the World type of movie, and does a good job of showing us the demise of how we become in a futuristic Los Angeles. However, I thought that the use of drugs was overused. Also, I was disappointed at how long the movie was, it lasted well over 2 hours and while watching the film, it seemed like it was almost three hours!...

My mom and I went to this movie with no expectations. I do not personally like Jack Nicholson, however, he is an extraordinary actor. However, sometimes I feel he is given the "cranky old man" bits because his personality is that way for real. It is difficult to see his dry humor throughout the movie. I personally found that his attitude towards his personal assistance hard to take, and not at all funny. Now, the story is a far-fetch from real life. But, anything with Morgan Freeman in it is worth seeing just to see him! Without ruining the whole movie for you, i will state that if you are in the mood for crying and laughing all in one movie, this is a good choice. I think it may have hit my mom a little harder as she is nearing the age that the actors played. It is always difficult to address one's own mortality, and that is really what the whole movie is about, the journey through life, and there is always only one final ending... just a matter of time....

I am not always a fan of Oprah's picks for her book club. And I am especially not into Self-help books; however, after reading The Secret, I can see where I DO have all the power to change my outcome. Simply reading it is not enough, so I would like to challenge everyone to read only the first few chapters and put it into action. Don't buy the book, borrow from a friend until you are certain that this is what you are looking for. You will be just as surprised as I was of the difference in the way you perceive yourself and others. Simply reading about the Law of Attraction again was an eye opener for the way my life had been going. Does this mean that nothing bad will ever happen to you, and will you become rich overnight? No, it is work just like anything. But this book will give you the correct tools you need to ensure that you are on the right path for you. So what are you waiting for?...

With the cost of gas these days, everyone is on the look out for the most gas efficient car around. For the type of vehicle, it is technically classified as a "truck" with the DMV, I love what I get out of my gas mileage. I don't have a family yet, but this is great for campers, and those with more than four to cart around. I have a 2001 5-door and have had all of my routine maintenance performed. I also feel very safe in the vehicle and in fact I was in a fender-bender where you could not even tell that I was hit whatsoever! Now, we were going all of 5 miles an hour, I am sure that helped! I would suggest this vehicle to those who want to be earth-conscience, and eco-friendly with the safety that an suv provides.

I was recently in a fire and only had time to grab one pair of shoes. Well, standing in the freezing rain for three hours destroyed those, so I had to go get a new pair of affordable comfortable black shoes available in wide widths. I tried on about 30 pair of shoes before finding the pair I bought. I new it the minute my foot stepped into the sole. The shoe provides just enough support for the arch and is wide enough at the tip so that my toes are not bunched together. Out of necessity, I had to start wearing them every day. They are casual enough on the weekends and professional enough to wear to the office each day. I am pleasantly surprised by my purchase. Now that I have most of my belongs back, I have other shoes to wear when I am in the mood, but I usually opt to wear by Softspots!...

I recently purchased Jane's Shimmering Bronzer and I have to say that it complements my face and desired affect beautifully! I have somewhat pale olive skintone. I am sometimes acne prone with certain skincare products. I have started to user Jane's mineral products and have been pleasantly surprised. I recently took a vacation where I got a little sun, and noticed that the bronzer I have (25 tahiti) complemented my paler skin tone and my more sun-kissed face. There is just enough shimmer to highlight my face in a nice soft glow. Here is a helpful hint. Apply after you apply your regular eyeshadow for added highlights.

I just recently bought the PedEgg "As Seen on TV" from Walgreens and had to try it out the same night. It is amazing. I followed the instructions and put it together. This process only took about a minute. There is very little for you to do, as it is compact already. After only a few short strokes on my problem areas, I was in awe at how smooth my feet were. I finished it off by using the file to polish it even smoother. I opened the egg to find it almost full! I could tell that there were still some shavings found on the floor, so next time I will do it over a bag or towel so that I do not have to vacuum. I personally followed it up with a foot cream and my feet are still soft 5 days after using the PedEgg only one time. I have no redness or irritation, and my feet are so soft and smooth! I can now feel like I can wear sandalls again! All of this for the price of $9.99 plus tax.
