cliche says "Wireless router makes Internet access a breeze!" about CP Technologies LevelOne WBR-3406TX Wireless Router

With my not having any networking experience, I installed a secure network with this router in 4.5 days! The trouble is that it only comes with a CD with the user's manual, and instructions that are only useful once you get to the setup page. The trick is finding the http:// URI (it is not www) towards the end of the manual. Once you have connected the router to a power outlet and to a live internet jack, plug the URL into your web browser and then follow the instructions. The other thing to watch out for is that the bottom of the router gets fairly warm, so put it on a hard surface and not on cloth or fabric.

The router works wonderfully! It only has one antenna, which is sufficient. There are multiple options to password-protect the network, name it, and do many other things with it. I purchased it off of www.buy.com, where they are constantly offering rebate deals on electronics and other products.
...

cliche says "Riding the subway above ground!" about "El" Train - Chicago, IL

Chicago is well-known for its "El" trains, or elevated trains, which run above ground. It is very nice to see the city instead of being in an underground subway. The trains run quite frequently and are easy to board. Payment options vary and signs are everywhere telling you where to go. More trains run during rush hour to accommodate the increased number of travelers. The stations even have "heating areas" to keep you warm during the Chicago winters. If you come to Chicago, you have to experience this one-of-a-kind mass public transportation system!

In an effort to improve the quality and quantity of transportation on the elevated tracks, there is significant construction going on, which tends to slow down travel time. As much as the delay upsets riders, it is understood that it is all for a good reason--to make the elevated trains more accessible and a better form of transportation.
...

cliche says "Fantastic place to enjoy a bike ride, jog, or the beautiful view" about Chicago Lake Front Running Path

The Lakefront Trail on Chicago's east side adjacent to Lake Michigan is great for cyclists, runners, rollerbladers, skateboarders, walkers, pet owners, and everyone in between. With amazing views and miles and miles of pathway, you can see much of what Chicago has to offer. Along the path are beaches, bike rental facilities, parks and fields, and places to sit down and relax. For people who love the outdoors, it is one of Chicago's greatest treasures.

It does tend to get crowded on the weekends and especially when the weather is nice, so you have to be patient. However, that just means it is a great place to be since so many people use it!
...

cliche says "Fraud protection, earn points" about Bank of America - WorldPoints Platinum Plus MasterCard

Even though I am not a fan of Bank of America taking over the world, this credit card has been good to me. I was alerted when fradulent activity was noticed on my account, and it took virtually no time for them to handle the situtation. Viewing and paying bills online is a very nice feature, and Bank of America also has a paperless bill option so you receive your bills by e-mail. And of course, every dollar spent is one WorldPoint that can be used for travel, hotel stays, and more....

cliche says "Good phone with some small problems" about Samsung - SCH-u540 Cell Phone

I got this phone because it was a Samsung, and I love Samsung! I have not had much of a problem with hearing other people and have not used many of the features of the phone as I am a simple person.

Texting is easy to do on this phone, thought adding someone's name from the contact list to the "TO" field in the text message is a little tricky. The phone (at least mine) only allows you to store about 40 text messages. Another problem is the constant toggling back and forth between the "select" button and the "OK" button. Sometimes you need to press one and then the other, and it gets confusing. Also, as I ALWAYS have my phone in vibrate mode, the strength of the rumbling mechanism needs to be boosted. I miss so many calls because you can barely feel it! On my old, simpler Samsung (with a different cell phone carrier) I was able to do conference calling...I could talk to six people at once. This phone, from what I have tried to figure out and from reading the manual, does...
...

cliche says "The Canon PowerShot SD600 delivers unbelievable quality!" about Canon - PowerShot SD600 Digital Camera

The Canon PowerShot SD600 has amazing features. You can take photos in black and white, sepia, and many other colors. There are settings for night shots, motion shots, sunny and beach shots, and much more!

It captures amazing video and sound quality, and easily connects to your computer using a USB cord or by removing the SD card from the camera. The battery lasts forever! I used the camera everyday for two weeks and still did not have to recharge it!

It is a great camera to have because it is small enough to carry with you wherever you go: to school or work, to the beach, bowling, etc.

I only wish that there was a protective covering for the back display screen, as it can easily get scratched.
...

cliche says "Red Bull energizes and revitalizes your mind and body" about Red Bull - Energy Drink

Red Bull is a great energy drink. It is small enough that it will not give you excessive amounts of energy. The designers of Red Bull were smart to not only have it boost your energy levels, but also have it increase your concentration. I first drank it to get a boost in energy, and then found myself sitting down for a few straight hours doing work! It woke me up (not so much that I was hyper) and helped me get the work done.

I do not recommend consuming it frequently due to sugar and caffeine content. Also, it is not good to become dependent on energy drinks, much like it it not healthy to become dependent on coffee or soda. I strongly recommend Red Bull for its overall appeal as well as its function of keeping you on track.
...
