You can control the volume and brightness level and it has 2 channels so you can avoid static.  It does still sometimes have static and you need to reposition it but it is a quick fix.  I do wish it came with two monitors but if I really wanted an extra one I could pay for it but after a year and a half I have found one is really all I need (I just want... Mon, 26 Nov 2007 22:52:21 GMT http://www.viewpoints.com/Margies-Candies-Chicago-IL-review-5278 clc 5 http://www.viewpoints.com/Shedd-Aquarium-Chicago-IL-review-1a9d0 We recently went to Soundings, the restaurant at the Shedd, and loved it!  The views were spectacular - 360 degrees of floor to ceiling windows overlooking Lake Michigan.  It was kid friendly (with goldfish crackers as snacks instead of bread) but yet upscale and made me feel like I had actually gone out somewhere fancy.  The food was good and reasonably priced with interesting seasonal options.  — The negatives were the inconsistent answers we received by the Shedd staff as to whether admission to the museum was required or not even if you were just going to the restaurant.  Some of our dinner guests were told they did not have to pay admission but we were told the opposite.  Also, it was a bit of a hoof to get to the restaurant once in the museum and confusing navigating the museum.  I wish there was a direct entrance into the restaurant or at least better signage on how to find it.... Mon, 26 Nov 2007 19:24:37 GMT http://www.viewpoints.com/Shedd-Aquarium-Chicago-IL-review-1a9d0 clc 4 http://www.viewpoints.com/DirecTV-Tivo-Receiver-review-fbc31 I went from just having the basic channels that come from the TV antenna to getting satellite TV with a TiVo recorder and I will never go back!  With a young child I would never be able to watch my favorite shows with out TiVo.  I can watch a 1 hour show in only 40minutes by fast forwading the opening credits and the commercials.  It is fabulous when watching live TV because you can pause it and then come back.  The only negative is that we bought the recorder with only 30 hours of recordable space and now I wish we had got the one with more...
