ckmommy2005 says "Save your money, poor service all around " about Bavarian Inn - Shepherdstown, WV

I have read nice things about Bavarian Inn but I did not know anyone who had had a good experience there and now I know why. I made reservations to take my family there for Sunday Brunch ( it is on their website). Being a mom of 2 preschoolers I don't get to go out to a real nice place too often but we try to do it once a year as a treat for me. Well they sat my family in an upstairs room with an open closet that they must use for supplies and wires coming out of the wall?? not sure what the wires are for but I did not think they looked safe, instead of the nice view of the Potomac river that they like to boast about we got to look at the HVAC system on the roof. Instead of Sunday brunch they changed it to a "special menu" The cost difference was unbelievable. We were sat at a folding table with chairs that did not match and my fav Christmas Salt and pepper shakers that also did not match each other. It was May no where near Christmas, but I guess no one told them...

The service started...
...

ckmommy2005 says "it is ok" about Joovy Sit N Stand LX

I got this stroller after having my son hopping that my 2 year old daughter could use it too so I would not be stuck at home all the time. It just wasn't the item for my family. It was too big to get in to and out of my car in a good manner. IIt's too heavy so I found I did not take it with me or want to use it a lot. My oldest child told me it was not comfy for her and did not like the back where she was to sit or stand on it. It was just not right for my family...

ckmommy2005 says "really works well" about Boudreaux's Butt Paste Diaper Rash Cream

For diaper rash this is one of the best products out there. I don't know why but it works faster then anything else I tried. I was lucky with my kids I did not have very many rashes maybe 3 per kid max. but when I did I quickly found out that this was the stuff to use. It went on smooth and quick, the smell was not too much for me or my child and in just a few hours the rash was gone (if it took that long).

It was a bitt hard to find at first, but now I see it all over the place. Much better then any store brand out there.
...

ckmommy2005 says "thank god for this bouncer I would have been lost without it" about Fisher Price Kick and Play Baby Bouncer

This was the BEST baby shower gift I received and it is what I will give anyone I know who has a baby forever!!!! I received this when I was pregnant with my daughter almost 5 years ago and I used it with both of my kids. My daughter LOVED it so much she would sit in it for hours and cry when we took her out. We did not always keep batteries in it so it did not alway vibrate or play music but that did not matter to my kids the loved the bouncing up and down, and really loved the lights when we put batteries in it.

Almost every picture I have of my daughter in her first few months she is in this bouncer. yes we interacted with her all the time but the bouncer helped us by giving her a fun safe place to sit so we could read books or play with toys. My son also used it 2 years later, not as much. It cleaned up really well and held up pretty good. By the time my son was done with it it was faded and had 2 small rips on sides but now my cat sits in it and swats at the toys that hang down....
...

ckmommy2005 says "a nice store with lots to love" about Target - Germantown, MD

This is a very nice Target store. It is well planned so you can get in and find what you want quickly. It is not too jammed backed with stuff that it is hard to get around with 2 kids in tow but they always seem to have good choices a well so you are not stuck getting what is on the shelf instead of getting what you really want. The mark downs are easy to find and look at. The employees are nice and will help with anything if you ask....

ckmommy2005 says "Good value for the money" about Maybelline Define-A-Lash Mascara

I got it as a free gift with some other product I bought I did not use right away but when I did I was pretty happy with it. It has a nice color and helps my eyes to pop. I like the flex brush it helps reach each lash and feels good going on. It is a little thin for what I like over all so I find that I go over my lashes 2 to 3 times depending on where I am going that day. It looks good over all I do find like with many mascaras the more I go over the more I have to deal with my lashes sticking together but that is across the board with mascara no matter what brand I try. I will buy it again.
...
