cj2018 says "Big and Tall Men's clothing at a reasonable price." about KingSize Direct

Looking for the perfect gift for that big, burly man in your life? Can't get to the store before Christmas? Don't feel like dealing with the crowds and traffic? KingSize Direct is the answer you've been looking for. This really is the store that has everything to dress a man from top to bottom. Whether he's a suit and tie guy, a sweater man, a jeans and t-shirt model, the greatest sports fan ever, a hunter or a farmer, he'll find himself at home here.

KingSizeDirect is an online big and tall men's store and an affiliate of Lane Bryant and Romans, which are Plus Size stores for women; however, orders can be placed by phone, fax, mail or internet, making them very versatile. Should you prefer to place an order by mail and you include your e-mail address on the order form, they will e-mail you both an order and a shipping confirmation, which I've found to be a unique attribute. If you do not have a catalog, one can be requested by clicking on a link within the website or by...
...

cj2018 says "Reliable Insurance Coverage with Reasonable Rates" about Nationwide Insurance

When I got my first car at sixteen, my Dad took me right to our Nationwide agent and put me on his policy. I am now forty-six years old, and I still have the same policy with the same insurance agent. I have also just added my seventeen-year old son to my policy, so it is clear that I would recommend this company to anyone.

I have had two accidents in the entire time that I have been covered, but my rates have never gone up due to either of those accidents. In both cases, when I had to contact the toll free accident reporting line, I have received immediate and friendly help from the customer service representatives that I have spoken with. Once the accidents were reported, my part was done. Nationwide took care of everything for me, including dealing with the other drivers' insurance companies, all medical costs for myself and the others involved in the accidents, payment for time lost from work, and full tort coverage for my car. Reimbursement checks arrived promptly...
...

cj2018 says ""For Those Who Live in or Long For the Country"" about Country Magazine

Growing up on a farm in rural Pennsylvania, it seemed to me as a kid, that the only magazines we had were about life on the farm. Although the family farm is under increasing pressure to fold from over-development of land, corporate agribusiness and ever-skyrocketing costs, with every issue of Country magazine, my faith in the future of America and its family farms is strengthened.

Every page is literally covered with beautiful photographs, both of scenic, panoramic vistas as well as captured timeless moments of children and animals enjoying the wonder of their worlds. The stories are always well written, but what is so special is that the pictures and stories are mainly written by Country's subscribers; those who live in or long for the country, just as the magazine's sub-title says. Reading this magazine, one is left with a better understanding of the hard work, commitment and pure love of the land that goes into running a family farm.

Not everything is serious, though. ...
...

cj2018 says "Honest and heartfelt" about Dreams from My Father

Being a single, white mother of a teenage, Aftrican-American son, I was naturally drawn to Barack Obama's telling of his life. There were so many aspects of his story with which I was able to identify that it is difficult to justly summarize them here. Still, hoping that others will take the time to read this book, it is well worth trying.

Soon after graduating from Harvard, Mr. Obama was asked to write the story of his life. In an ideal family situation, a son or a daughter learns strength of character and compassion from a loving and nurturing father and mother. How many of us, though, have truly grown up a part of that perfect family? Believe me, I know that kind of family exists, and I have many friends who grew up in just such a setting. Some of us, however, are forced to learn strength and compassion from the father or mother that we did not know growing up. This is Barack Obama's story, as it is my son's story.

As we read his book, we are allowed to take a step into...
...

cj2018 says "History comes to life" about John Adams

Being a history geek, as my teenage son calls me, I read John Adams soon after it came out, so I was really excited when I saw that HBO films had made a mini-series out of it. I am happy to say that I was not disappointed in what they did in bringing the story to the screen. It was true to the book and historically accurate. At the same time, it was full of passion, both in portraying John Adams' love for his new country, as well as his lifelong love for his wife.

As impressed as I was with HBO's portrayal of John Adams and his fellow patriots' fiery personalities, I was equally impressed with their handling of Abigail Adams. John Adams felt that she was at least as intelligent as him and that she would have made a formidable representative at the Continental Congress, had the times allowed for her to be in that kind of position. As that was not an option, the viewer could feel her frustration, but it could also be seen how she channeled her own passion for her new country,...
...

I have been a member of MyPoints.com since August of 2004 and have never been disappointed with the service that I have received. The web site is easy to navigate, even for someone less familiar with the Internet.

The site primarily works as an e-mail rewards program. After registration, which includes surveys cataloguing your specific interests, you will begin receiving multiple e-mails from the site, on a daily basis. The number of e-mails can vary from as few as two per day up to ten or more, depending upon the offers available. Each e-mail will contain a link to the sponsoring company's web site. For clicking on the link, you will normally receive five points. Nothing further is required of you. Once the window for that link is closed you need never go to the web site again, if you choose not to do so. Your activity will only be recorded that one time by MyPoints.com, so that they can award you the five points due. If you decide, however, to register on the linked...
...

cj2018 says "TV trivia " about RewardTV

RewardTV has no registration or membership fees. It is a game site, but not in the traditional way. It is a TV trivia site, but the questions are all based on the programming viewed from the previous day. During the bulk of the week, there are a maximum of five games that can be played from the hundreds available. Each question within the game is worth 100 points, with bonus questions for commercials shown during the program. If the player answers the first question regarding the commercial correctly, a second question will come up, with a usual limit of 600 possible points per commercial.

On the weekends, or during pro and college football and basketball seasons, there are bonus games that can be played. In addition, there are bonus games offered by some channels, beyond the normal daily five games. NASCAR is also a participant, so there are bonus games during racing season. All points earned are good for one year.

Members can trade their points in at any time to enter...
...

cj2018 says "Home Sweet Home" about Pogo.com

I have been addicted to POGO.com for the past four years. While most of the best games do require a yearly membership fee, the fee is not outrageous, and there are also a lot of free games if you don't want to pay. All games have a Jackpot Spin, which is automatically doubled if won by a paying member. Along with that, there are special drawings for members and non-members throughout the year. What we POGOholics consider the best benefit, though, are "Badge Nights" every Wednesday. POGO has two weekly game contests to earn a new badge (icon) for that game. Members can also get POGO "mini's" which they can dress up in costumes and clothes to match their personality and the season. It really is a lot of fun.

The only problems I've ever encountered was with their Tech Support, which is handled outside of the country and primarily through e-mail. The e-mail has to be picked up within the site, however, so it can be cumbersome. Fortunately, I have only had to use it twice,...
...
