cindy440 says "The 3X Optical Zoom is a great improvement over the CX4300." about Kodak - Easyshare CW330

I bought the Kodak EasyShare CW330 as an upgrade in digital cameras - due to the optical zoom. My first digital camera was the Kodak EasyShare CX4300, and I was already "sold" on the format and the accompanying easy-to-use software. When I had the opportunity to get the same great features I already loved in a camera that could do so much more, I had to do it!

Having the optical zoom greatly improved the quality of my photos. I no longer had to be on top of something to get a decent shot. Now, having said that, I did learn right away that I could NOT get a good photo if I used the zoom to the max. Way too much distortion!

The Kodak EasyShare software is the other selling point for this camera. It is very easy to use, excellent for organizing my photos, and great for editing. I can drag and drop photos from other file folders, etc., right into the Kodak software for editing - which is SO much better than Microsoft Paint!

And, of course, it comes with its own printer dock that...
...

cindy440 says "3-In-1 Convenience, but save your extra cash for INK!" about Epson All- in-One Printer Scanner

I bought this Epson three-in-one printer scanner copier to replace an inkjet printer that bit the dust. I had a separate flatbed scanner that was fully functional, but I am limited on desktop space. The convenience of a 3-in-1 is obvious, and the price was reasonable enough to justify replacing the perfectly good scanner.

I had good experience with Epson printers over the years, beginning with a superb laser printer back in the "old days". A previous Epson inkjet printer had been one of the better inkjet printers I had used, and with that older model I had found some good quality no-name brand ink cartridges that worked in it just fine.

While the quality of the copies, scans, and printed material is just fine with this model, I am disappointed with the amount of ink it uses. I again started buying the no-name ink cartridges for it, and they worked at first, but seemed to run out of ink in no time. And I often had to clean the nozzles when I replaced a cartridge. I went...
...

cindy440 says "The BEST Cordless Phone with Answering Machine I've Ever Used!" about AT&T - EP5632 Phone

I bought this phone for my father, to replace a pathetic quality cordless phone with answering machine. He is very hard of hearing, and even I could not hear the messages on his old machine.

Although there was no need for the extra features, being able to hook in a cell phone to it, etc, it had all the features that HE needed, and I got to check it out when I set it all up for him.

First, this is the first cordless phone I have ever used that didn't have a background hum when you maxed out the volume. This one is clear as a bell, all over the house, even outside, quite a way from the base unit.

Second, the answering machine is superb! Crisp, clear sound with great volume control, and extremely simple to operate.

Third, the numbers are very easy to read, which makes it easier for my dad to use.

Fourth, you can add up to TWELVE handsets! Which we would have done, if my dad hadn't already had other phones in the house in several areas.

And last, but not least, the phone is very easy to...
...

cindy440 says "Exceptional Quality at a Great Price - Great Gift Idea!" about Wolfgang Puck Signature Series 5-piece Santoku Cutlery Set

My husband just purchased a set of these high quality knives from Sam's Club last month. At about $20.00 for the set, you can't go wrong!

I should explain, my husband is quite selective, very particular, when it comes to knives in the kitchen - he enjoys cooking MUCH more so than I do - so, over the years, he has purchased some very well-known, name brand knives.

For him to put his stamp of approval on this set is a supreme endorsement, in my opinion, from an "expert". Granted, they should be hand-washed to prevent staining, but that is true of any knives of this type.

The style of the knives is what I like. And the feel of the knife in your hands is great, too. They are most definitely sharp enough to handle any task. And since our magnet bar knife holder was already full of knives of other brands, it was nice that these came with their own wooden holder.

All in all, I have to say this is a great quality set of knives, nicely packaged for gift giving, I've already been back...
...

cindy440 says "Attractive bird feeder, but expensive and not a good choice." about Ace Hardware HEXAGON SOLAR BIRDFEEDER

I purchased this lovely bird feeder from Ace Hardware. The price was around $25.00. It is a copper color, very attractive, featuring three solar powered lights. However, the seed does not feed down to the bottom tray. I started out using sunflower seed in it, and I should point out that it was small sunflower seeds. The openings for the seed to come out are small enough that the birds eating out of the tray can not prompt more seed to come out. The only way it ever gets more seed in the tray is if I tilt it and shake it from time to time.

I then emptied the sunflower seeds out of it and substituted thistle seed. Nothing is smaller than thistle seed, but it won't feed down into the tray, either!

So if you want an attractive copper feeder just for LOOKS, that has tiny DIM lights around the top, solar powered, but won't stay lit all evening, buy it. If you want a bird feeder that will actually FEED your birds, this one will NOT get the job done!
...
