chrissycat says "Yum Yum - These sandwiches are fantastic!" about Stouffer's Corner Bistro

I recently found these sandwiches in the freezer case of my store. There are several different flavors, but my favorite is the Chicken Asiago.

You cook them in your microwave using the box it comes in. Now the only suggestion I have about that is to place some wax paper between the box and your sandwich so you don't pick up germs from the box. The first time I made one I made it just as the box says and that really bothered me that the cheese melted onto the box. Lots of people have touched this box before me!

So do use a piece of wax paper and then follow the box directions. My microwave cooks them faster than the time they recommend so be careful. If you cook it too long it burns a little. Try the lesser time they recommend first and heat it longer if you want.

I don't put it together like a sandwich the way they say, I just put both pieces open-face on a plate and cut some fresh tomatoes on top of it and eat with a fork and knife. I think it would be too hot and messy to...
...

chrissycat says "Yummy! I could eat this every day!" about Stouffer's French bread pizza

I love this pizza bread! My favorite is the white cheese with creamy garlic sauce. I also like the 5-cheese white pizza. I slice some tomato on top of it before baking and it is DEE-LISH. I want some right now that I am talking about it.

The crunch of the bread is wonderful. I bake mine in the oven. They say you can make it in the microwave but I have not tried it that way. I guess if I was in a big hurry it would be OK, but it bakes fairly quickly in the oven.

It is a quick, easy, filling meal. I try to buy it when it is on sale at our local store for about $2.50 and if I have a coupon, that's even better.

There are several different types, some with meat and some without. I have tried only 3 of the flavors and I prefer the meatless ones.
...

chrissycat says "Great movie! Moore is right-on again!" about Sicko

Michael Moore is a national treasure! He has a knack for finding the biggest problems in our country and telling us all that we need to know. Health care is a big need in the USA and the present administration is doing nothing about it, except making things worse.

President Bush is so out of touch with reality that he recently claimed that we all have health care, that all we have to do is "go to the emergency room." Yes, that is what he said---Google it if you don't believe me. Well, you can't go to the ER if you need chemo, or a transplant or a mastectomy, etc. And if you do go to the ER you will lose your house to pay the bill, if you don't have health insurance.

Health care is too expensive in this country and the average person cannot afford it anymore.

See this movie and have your eyes opened to what is happening here and use your vote to try to get things right before it is too late.
...

chrissycat says "Get rid of that stinky spot!" about Nature's Miracle Stain & Order Remover

I have several cats and sometimes they have an accident. Sometimes it is health related or whatever reason the little buggers can think of. For some reason one of my kitties urinated in the corner of my room and I didn't notice it for a few days.

I bought this product called Nature's Miracle to spray onto the urine spot. Follow the instructions on the bottle. I bought a gallon of this when it was on sale at Petco. I poured some into a small spray bottle so it is easier to handle. Spray it all over the urine spot and let it soak in. If it is on carpeting you really have to spray a lot so that it soaks down into the padding.

I continue to spray into the area for several days. It has a bit of a rubbing alcohol smell to it and I feel it makes the cats stay away from that area. So far, so good. The smell has dissipated and no one has messed there since.

It has not changed the carpet color either, but I would be careful using this on a dark colored carpet. Test a hidden...
...

chrissycat says "Be kind to all animals!" about Animal Care and Welfare, Inc.

This is a wonderful organization that was started in the 70's by the late Ed Blotzer. Since his death the members have kept his good works going and have expanded their care and welfare to abused animals. When a poor person cannot afford to have their pets spayed and neutered this organization will supply a voucher to their VET to help defray the cost.

They find homes for many stray cats and dogs. They rescue animals from abusers. They also go to many fairs to spread the word about their good works and also to get pets adopted.

These women work tirelessly to help these animals, giving of their own time and money. They always need monetary donations to help the animals.

There are too many unwanted cats and dogs and thanks to Animal Care and Welfare helping with spaying and neutering there will be less animals killed at shelters.
...
