chodorhead says "Uses regular garbage bags, why pay extra for refill packs?" about Baby Trend Diaper Champ

Works well to control odor, easy to use with a handle you just flip from left to right. Can operate with one hand, great when you have a squirming little one in your arms. Easy to clean and easy to replace bags but biggest advantage to me was you don't have to buy refill packs of bags. You can use any brand garbage bag. — No diaper pail will keep ALL odors out but this one worked well and wasn't too expensive to buy or maintain. — ...

chodorhead says "Easily cools hot foods for young mouths." about Mac & Cool Quick Cooling Dish

No more waiting for food to cool. This cooling dish takes foods from "too hot" to "just right" in about 60 seconds, which was great for my impatient toddler. You just fill the container with one cup of water and keep it in your freezer. When ready to use, put food directly into it for one quick minute, then transfer it to your child's plate. I used it for macaroni and cheese, rice, oatmeal, pizza, etc. It says to hand wash only, but it's small enough, it takes less than a minute to clean it. I didn't even empty the water inside, just washed the surface and re-froze it. You can get this from Onestepahead.com for about $6. Great product!...

chodorhead says "Quick,,,but not same exact taste as Mac & Cheese" about Kraft Easy Mac

My 4-yr old is a little on the picky side and didn't like this too much. I use different brands of boxed macaroni and cheese, everything from Kraft to the Fred Meyer store brand and she always loves it, but there is definitely a taste difference with this product. — I was disappointed because it's really quick, easy and portable but the taste isn't quite up to par. —...

chodorhead says "Big time saver. " about Dirt Devil MBV2030 Bagless Stick Vacuum

Needed something for quick spills on my hard-wood floors. Have a 4-yr old and 2 cats so there is always something that needs to be swept. This thing is great. Works just like a broom but with added advantage of suction to get all the little pieces. I even use it on my couch for crumbs. — It's a little heavier than a regular broom, but not heavy enough to be a problem. Easy to empty the dust collector part. Wish the battery lastest longer but it does recharge quickly. — Definitely worth the $49.99 price (Linens--n-Things carries them and I used a 20% off coupon so got it for about $40). —...

chodorhead says "I was skeptical, but this thing is awesome!" about FURminator Deshedding Tool for Pets

What pet brush could be worth $35? The Furminator! I was shocked at how much hair comes off my cats with this brush. I vacuum several times a week and still had little patches of hair around the house until buying this brush. I've cut my vacuuming by at least half and the floors look better than before. — I used to clean up at least one, usually two hairballs a week (have two cats, one medium-length hair, one long-haired) off the carpet, and that's even feeding them Science Diet Hairball Formula. After using the Furminator once a week for the past month, I've cleaned up two total! — This brush is worth every penny, especially if you have multiple pets. Wish I had it when my Akita did his twice yearly shedding. —...

chodorhead says "Great toy for toddlers." about LeapFrog Fridge Phonics Magnetic Letter Set

Great toy to teach toddlers their ABCs. Child can insert the letter of choice and hear the name of the letter and what sound it makes. Hit another button and it plays the ABC Song. My daughter loved playing with the letters, both on and off the fridge. Now that she knows her alphabet well, she spells short words on the fridge. — Toy is sturdy, music isn't too loud and the letters wipe clean pretty easily (I use a cotton swap for the small spaces). — I highly recommend this toy! —...
