chingu1 says "compact touch screen worth every penny" about Hewlett Packard Pavilion tx2000

I am a medical student always looking for a good deal. With so many classes that require complex diagrams that are not easily placed in computer format, the Tx2000 series was the answer to my prayers. It was incredible to spend less that $900 for a computer that allowed me to take my notes directly in an organized manner. One note is the main feature that I use on my computer with the stylus pen. The HP eraser pen is very convenient because it lets you write as if you were using a pencil, write with the pointed tip and erase with the other end. Processing speed is above average and 250Gb RAM is so useful. The touch screen is responsive with several options that become available depending on how long you hold the touch, this allows for the equivalent of a left click on a mouse.I love the fact that I can either use the stylus or I can just use my finger for the touch screen. My major complaint is that it randomly loses its built in fingerprint reader function which can be annoying, if...
...

chingu1 says "Best way to save money on electric/gas bill" about Bionare BFH6616 multi-directional tower heater BFH6616

I moved to Philadelphia, PA from Florida and I can't stand the cold. So I purchased a Bionare heater, the compact versions take a considerable amount of time to actually heat a room. This model however has a pivot that separates the two heater fans enabling a near 90 degree turn between the two directions that the fans can disperse the electrically heated air. The thermostat is built into the LED display allowing for the heater to be left plugged in so that it is only running when the temperature in the room is what you set it too. Major complaints include, slight smell when not in constant use and thermostat is not very sensitive. The smell is kind of moldy but is gone shortly after half hour and only happens if not in use more than a months time. Overall this heater is effective and dropped my electric and gas bill by $60. I purchased my heater from target for around $20. The auto-shut off has been tested multiple times by my dog and has worked every-time, so I feel safe leave it on...
...

chingu1 says "Perfect balance of price and quality" about Vizio - 37" LCD HDTV

I am a student, so money is not something that I have alot of, so while shopping around for an affordable LCD tv I found the 37" Vizio. I purchased my tv from Walmart for less than $600. It was easy to set up and configure. My main complaint is that it not completely customizable, other competitors offer more features. Other than that, I have enjoyed my tv for almost a year now. The backlight is just as bright as when I got it and the HD picture with comcast HD channels is amazing, crystal clear. The speakers are standard, however surround sound is easily hooked up. The many composite inputs have allowed me to hook up my Wii, DVD player, and HD DVR. The quick input change buttons on the remote allow for easy changing between certain inputs. I have not attempted to mount the tv, but it looks like it wouldn't be too difficult to do. I recommend the Vizio 37" LCD for any major gamers or families on a tight budget.
...

chingu1 says "A nice supplement but definitely not a cure" about SudaCare Shower Soothers

I suffer from allergies during the spring, I get congested and want nothing more than to come home, sit on the coach and be able to breathe. I have tried nasal sprays, pills, and if they don't make me drowsy and loopy, then they just don't work. Upon trying the Sudacare Shower Soothers in conjunction with my prescribed medication I finally experienced long lasting relief. These little tablets are easy to use and enhance a warm shower to a spa like experience. I can't say enough about how soothing it is to breathe in the menthol combo while taking a long shower. I did try the soothers alone without my medication and without the ability to slightly breath in they are ineffective. I suggest this product to anyone that has non life threatening allergies that permits at least slight breathes through the nasal passage. Also, for those that do not enjoy the smell that comes with many rubs that contain similar ingredients.
...

chingu1 says "The LG Dare is the best phone I've had thus far" about LG - Dare VX9700 Cell Phone

I have owned 3 diffferent lg phones while contracted with Verizon wireless and I have to say that the Lg Dare is the best I've had the joy to own. The touch screen is very user friendly. Regardless of its size, the qwerty keyboard is responsive and with some adaptation becomes an efficient method of texting. The web browser can be slow, but if you only use the web for easy searches and not accessing web pages that require unique processes then this is a feature that will be handy. Verizon is updating the ability of users to access what they want on the internet, such as email. With the new applications available internet use is quick and simple. The phones video recording capabilities are deplorable, most likely not something that will be used. The phones camera however is amazing, pictures are vibrant, even in difficult lighting situations. I no longer have a digital camera because it is much easier to have my phone on hand. Features of the camera I like the most are the panaramic and...
...
