chicagoburbs says "Non-stick works great but looses coating with use" about Circulon set

I bought a set several years ago and use it as my major cook set. It heats up fast and works great at non-stick. The only problem I have is that several of the pots are starting to loose the circular teflon coating (happened fairly soon after purchase)- they started to pull away similar to how a knited item would unravel. Yes they have a lifetime guarantee but you need to ship it to them at your cost and then pay a service charge - hardly worth the bother. Would I buy these again, probably not - I would either replace them with cheaper non-stick pans that I expect to have a short lifespan or I would spend the extra money and buy all-clad.
...

chicagoburbs says "Works because of fear due to side affects" about Alli Fat Burner Diet Pills

This really helped me loose weight at a reasonable rate. Because of the side affect of gas and diarreha, if you overdue the fat consumption, I tended to be much more careful with what and how much I put in my mouth. Don't expect to be able to eat more and loose weight on this product - that is not how it is suppose to work. Eat reasonable meals, and you will slowly loose weight - and keep it off.

If your looking for a fast fix, this is not the product for you.
...

chicagoburbs says "Makes inconsistant ice cream" about CuisinArt Ice Cream Maker - ICE 20

Easy to use but freezes too hard around the outer layer at the start so that you loose some of the cream when you are done (have to chizel it away from the sides when done). Don't really think that it made a good quality ice cream - I think that it would be better off and cheaper to buy store bought. It does make good sorbets - becuaue the mix for sorbet is icier than Ice cream, the end result if closer to the real stuff. Mine came with 2 freezers which is a nice bonus.
...

chicagoburbs says "Wash and dry completes at same time" about Whirlpool Duet - Washer Dryer

Love these machines. I have them stacked to save space and it also help when loading from the washer (on the bottom) to the dryer. The clothes are at eye level when dry which makes it easy to see what I am about to fold. When washing, I add the bleach, and softener and leave it to do the work. These hold huge amounts of clothes (about twice as much as a regular machine) and the items come out clean no matter how much I shove into them. I also think that I see less ware on my close because they get gently tumbled rather than agitated. Well worth the extra expense that these cost.
...

chicagoburbs says "Great to use on all floor types" about Eureka Enviro Steam Cleaner

I bought this to clean my wood floors in my kitchen because I hate using mops that redistributes dirty water. This works great and I feel good that it sanitizes as it cleans. I also use it on my tile bathrooms and it does a good job there. It doesn't save much time because you need to work slowly to get up all the dirt but it doesn't take any more time than a mop does. It also removed marks on my wood floor that I hadn't been able to scrub off with a mop - be warned that if you leave it on a spot too long, it does raise the grain a little but with the recommended use, your floors are safe. I reviewed several other brands and this one looked to be the best for the price.
...

chicagoburbs says "Not good for older skin" about Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil

I really wanted to like this product but I found that it drew attention to my fine lines and wrinkles. It made my dry skin even more dry and seemed to make my skin look older. Didn't do a good job of covering any spots or blemishes that I had that would normally disapear with liquid makeup. I think this product is more suitable for young skin.
...

chicagoburbs says "Unapealling food - always hungry" about NutriSystem Weight Loss Program

Most of the foods are bland or unapealing especially any of the items that were made from soy. The portions were small, which is how you could loose weight if you could stay on the program. Basically the meals themselves were high calorie(for the amount you got) but because the portions were so small, you would end up with a low calorie day. I was always hungry and had a hard time getting excited about the next meal. It is much easier to just cut back on your portions instead of paying for their small meals. Don't know how they can get the meals to look so good on TV - guess they have great photographers and small plates. Yes I did loose weight on this program only because I paid for the shipment, so I was doing it. It doesn't really teach you to eat right so I gained it back soon after the meals ran out.
...
