having suffered with seasonal allergies and a chronically stuffed nose for most of my life , I have tried numerous products in an effort to clear my nose and breathe easier .

Many nasal sprays have a "rebound effect" of used too often and prescription nasal sprays often contain steroid which have negative side effects that negates the benefits , in my opinion,

After discovering Ocean nasal spray, I find that this is the most natural ,safest form of relief for me for a stuffed up nose . Basically , you could make this yourself using salt and purified water because it is a saline based nasal spray. There are no irritating side effects, no dependency , and it works almost instantly in clearing up a stuffed up nose and bringing relief .

If you suffer from seasonal allergies or other conditions that make you feel as if you cannot breathe , you will welcome this product . It is totally harmless and you will be amazed at how such a simple , natural product can help so much .

I have used Tresemme products for quite a few years with satisfied results. Actually, the fact that they have even had products on the market for more than a few years is a testament to their quality and customer satisfactions .

Having always had thick , healthy hair that received for which I received numerous compliments all my life , made me think that all shampoos were created equal. Well, after menopause , that all changed : ( My hair started to thin and become more coarse and brittle and lost a lot of body - I was devastated .

I went on a mission to find hair products that would help restore some of the luster , bounce and shine to my once lovely hair . This product worls quite well in achieving those results. After using , my hair is noticeably thicker and healtheir looking and I feel more like it is my hair of my youth .

I have used Mucinex for quite awhile ( before it was available over the counter) , with amazing results.

The active ingredient in Mucinex is guafinisen which is an expectorant for mucus relief . It really works great as a decongestant and thins the mucus secretions and helps " bring up" the mucus from your lungs and nasal passages .

There are generic brands of this drug out there which are equally effective, but be careful of the doses. I believe the Mucinex is 400mg of guaf per tablet and the generics, which are much cheaper, may only have 100 or 200mg per tablet . You would need 2-4 tablets to have the same effect as the Mucinex one tablet .

If you suffer from chronic sinusitis or have frequent head colds , you know the pain of blocked sinuses . Mucinex can bring very fast relief without any of the side effects of drowsiness and without added ingredients that you don't really need or want with their additional negative side effects . I love this Melitta coffee - it is so smooth and rich bodied and leaves no aftertaste at all, unlike some other coffees that can leave you with an upset stomach .

It is not too strong and the flavorings are just right . Whenever I bring a cup of this coffee to work , I always get comments such as " Something smell good !" - and people asking what I am drinking.

Melitta is a premium coffee at a budget price - it is about $5 a can and the other flavors are just as good - I especially like the French vanilla and the decaffeinted coffee is awesome for those times when you want some coffee but you need your sleep too .

It is a brand you can trust and you will find yourself buying it again and again - I think I must have 8 cans in the house right now ! There are often coupons in the SUnday paper and that makes it an even more appealing deal .

I recommend this coffee to all who like the nutty,sweet taste of hazlenut other flavored coffees which go great with dessert too .

I have not always been a fan of country music btu the Dixie Chicks are a pretty awesome bunch of ladies musically speaking .

I started listening to them with the CD " FLY" and enjoyed Natalie Maines' lovely voice - she can sing a great ballad or really belt a song out when needed . She also plays a pretty good guitar.

Emily Robison is an incredible musician too - she can play 5 or six instruments with ease and finesse and her sister ,Martie Maguire , is one of the best fiddlers ever to grace a stage .

These ladies are certainly controversial and have lost a lot of fans with Natalie's( now infamous) remarks about George Bush and Texas . Many were offended and I agree that it was not the brightest comment to voice , but it should not detract from the brilliance of their music . I certainly think the death threats to Natalie were overkill - people are entitled to their opinions, although " dissing" the President , esp on foreign soil,as a very foolish thing to do and cost them a lot...

I can recall that my grandmother used Vicks for everything - even , amazingly , for burns ! She swore by it and it has been a staple in my medicine cabinet for years.

When I had a bad sinus infection recently, nothing really helped so I reached for the old faithful Vicks. I had tried Sinutab , Mucinex, etc and had some relief but Vicks did the trick .

I boiled a spoonful in water and inhaled the fumes, much like a vaporizer . I smeared a little on my chest and a dab under my nose to open my poor sweollen nasal passages . I know some people have a sensitivity to the camphor so I say a word of caution here but it has never bothered my sensitive , Irish skin so ....

When you wake up , you will be able to breathe easier and your sinsues will feel much better .

I recently read that putting Vicks on the soles of your feet , then covering with sicks and sleeping through the night , can bring a world of relief . I personally did not try this yet, but I think I will the next time I get a stuffed...

I bought this lotion recently because it was on sale and I had a coupon . I trust the Olay line of products as women in my family have been using Ool of Olay for several generations .

I frequently buy whatever cheapo lotion is on sale , even at Dollar Shops, but as I have gotten odler and entered menopause , my skin needs more tender loving care and I have to shop around for something that really smooths out the small wrinkles and makes my skin less dry and silkier.

Well, I need look no more because this Olay lotion is the one for me . Just a ferw days after using it , I got a comment from my sister that my skin looked younger and she asked what I was doing differently . I told her the only thing different that I had been using was the Olay lotion and that must be it .

This lotion goes on smooth and creamy and makes your face feel the same way after just a few uses . The scent is lovely , not strong or overpowering but not unscented either - it is just pleasant to use , I guess ....

I bought this phone at JC Penney Outlet recently and it was a wonderful deal . The system incldued three additional phones that you plug into any outlet and they all work together . There is a built in digitial answering machine and speakerphone . It is caller ID capable although I don't have that system with my phone service which is optional .

You can easily program each individual phone for ring tone, volume, time, and you can even set them up so that each receiver plays a different melody when it rings such as Irish Eyes are Smiling ,a lullabye , etc. That was a cool feature - IF you have caller id, you can program the phones so you can assign a ring tone melody for a specific caller.

These phones work great and the price was incredible at around $30. The clarity is great and the features are many - this is a budget price but not budget quality. They are black and chrome and sleek and modern looking. I just love them and would recommend them to everyone .

If you like old style R &B from the 60's and early 70's , give " 100 Days , 100 Nights" a listen .

The title song of the same name is reminiscent of songs of that era and you will feel that you have been transported in a time machine back to that golden era of R&B. There are even some background singers echoing the words " 100 days " that provides an old school feel .

The 60's sound seems popular again with the arrival of other artists like Duffy who reminds me a lot of Dusty Springfield , and this CD is in the same genre .

Sharon Jones has an incredible voice - it is rich , husky, sassy and melodious - it reminds me a bit of early Aretha Franklin or maybe the more modern sound of Susan Tedeschi .

The instruments on this CD include the sax , congas , bongos, trumpet and the clavinet which contribute to the old fashioned sound of the recording . The band is a decided asset to Sharon's able pipes .

One of my favorite tracks on the CD is " Humble Me " - the song is full of longing...

I have owned this camera for a few weeks now and it is above average for the price .

I wanted a point and shoot around $100 that would provide decent photos primarily using the Auto setting . In addition, this camera has image stabilization so no blurry shots, face detection, red eye removal and lots more that are usually only found on pricier cameras .

It has 8.1 megapixels and a 2.5 LCD screen -decent . The onyl flaws are the LCD screen is hard to see while taking shots in bright sun - a viewfinder would have been nice . Also, if your batteries are low ( rechargeables are a MUST ) , the lens sometimes has gotten stuck and will not retract. I had to power off , remove the batteries ,replace and power back on. I did return the first one for that reason and bought the extended warranty but later read about the issue and the fix online . Overall, the pictures are nice and clean , no graininess and fairly simple to use .

This is a great sleeper movie about a group of friends in their thirties , reminiscent of the Breakfast Blu and other " coming of age" movies . The cast is stellar , starring Timothy Hutton, Matt Dillon, Uma Thurman , Natalie Portman, Rosie O'Donnell and more !

Hutton returns to his sleepy New England town from New York for a high school reunion where he has been trying to make it as a piano player - the characters are well fleshed out and you gain insight into the characters of each - there are many sad and poignant movies as well as a lot of humor . For some reason, this is the type of film that I like to watch over and over , which is a rarity for me .

It may be difficult to find a new copy , but there are used copies all over the internet and I just bought another one - you will love it !

I love French toast for breakfast but don't usually have the time or energy to make it .

I happened upon these Farm Rich Cinnamon Sprinkle French toast sticks that were on sale at my local supermarket . I decided to give them a try - why not ? I did not expect much , but was pleasantly suprised by how good they were .

I popped them into the toaster oven for a few minutes and heated a small bowl of maple syrup for about 20 seconds in the microwave - putting the two together created an amazing concoction that tasted great . The sticks were fot and yummy yet crispy on the outside and the dollop of syrup was the perfect accompaniment . I will be having these stocked in my freezer from now on for times when I want French toast without all the bother .

Great for a snack or a quick breakfast -they would be nice topped with berries too instead of the syrup.

I just got this Dusty Springfield cd entitled " Love Songs" - as a Dusty fan, I already own several of her Cds but this one is awesome if you like classic 60's music and songs of love and romance .

Dusty was a phenomenal talent who never quite got the recognition she deserved during her lifetime - her voice is both breathy and throaty at the same time and she loved to perform which comes through in the music .

There is a new tribute album out for Dusty performed by Shelby Lynne who is another of my favorites , but for pure classic Dusty Springfield , don't settle for a tribute album , albeit well-done , go for the real thing and buy Dusty's " Love Songs" - you will love it !

I happened upon this artist while searching through youtube and then found myself wanting more - the music is very unique and draws you in .

Grace is a 23 year old chanteuse from Vermont - she writes all her own songs. She mighrt best be compared to a cross between Eva Cassidy and Janis Joplin - an odd pairing at best with two very different styles. In some songs, she is as ethereal as Eva and in others , she is Janis reincarnated .

The band is also rocking with a very good bass player -they say they try to give their music a 70's feel . I went out and bought their other two CDs after buying this one , which also came with a bonus DVD . They are even better to watch live on the DVD than in the studio productions .

If you enjoy good music , they are worth checking out .

I was searching for a good price on a new pair of computer speakers and saw these at Best Buy , Insignia is their own store brand but the clerk told me they were really made by Cyber Acoustics which is the brand of the ones I currently own .

They were on sale from $50 to $20 - quite a deal . For the money , they are not bad but are of only average quality - no way are they worth $50 even though they have a subwoofer . I have a pair of Edifiers from Radio Shack at work with no woofer for $20 which deliver nicer sound . They are not shielded which is a minus . The bass sound is not very great although it is adjustable . There is a headphone jack on the right speaker , no adjustment on the subwoofer . \

These are perfect for anyone looking for a decent sound at a decent price for listening to music, etc. but they are only worth the $20 I paid in my opinion .
