cher0712 says "Good by Mop - Hello Swiffer!" about Swiffer WetJet®

This item is top notch! I was so happy when I finally shelled out the $21.00 for the Wet Jet and can I tell you it has to be one of the best investments (if you can call $21.00 an investment) I have ever made. It has made life so easy - especially now with all the salt we are tracking in from outside this winter. This is so much better than filling a bucket with water, putting in cleaner, and then using the same old mop head over and over and over again. I recommend this product completely, but would suggest rechargeable batteries because it works out to be more cost effective and safer for the environment....

cher0712 says "Not impressed and would never recommend!" about Dyson DC14 Animal Vacuum

I was so excited when I purchased the Dyson DC14 machine, but that didn't last long. It was great for about a month then it seemed to leave behind hair in the carpet - the suction isn't that wonderful and gets worse as your vacuum ages. It's also very clumsy and heavy. The hose is a big pain to use and then put back. Oh, and for all the allergy sufferers...it's great until you need to empty the bin - no matter what you do if you have bad allergies the dust is going to get you...bags are so much better for the real allergy sufferer. I wish I had read consumer reports before I purchased this machine because I would have saved myself over $500. Oh, well back to my Electrolux canister with the bags...at least that one cleans. I donated my Dyson DC14 machine to a local non-profit because I figured they would be happy not spending money on bags and only have light cleaning needs, which is what this machine can handle....

cher0712 says "Works wonderfully in areas with limited insulation!" about Holmes Heater - Bionaire - BH3955-U

We live in a house that is over 200 years old and the insulation isn't great, so as we redo the home we have to supplement the heating source in rooms not yet renovated...the bathroom is one room with this issue, so we decided that we would purchase a Holmes heater as our supplemental heat source and it's has been fantastic! This item is worth every penny we paid and I can tell you this wasn't one of the fancy expensive heaters, but it works like one and this is the second season we are using it and its still working and keeping us warm in the bathroom....
