cheoutee says "Well-Built and Durable Touring Vehicle" about Ford Focus - 2002

Until my youngest daughter bought this Ford Focus ZX3, I always prefered Imports like Toyota and Mazda. I enjoy our travel in her Ford Focus. It is unique - she did say she purchased a "Program Car" with many options that are not found in other Focus even in the 2008 model. We have driven to and from San Francisco many times in this little car. The mileage is excellent for a fully loaded (with luggage and baby gear) car with 4 passengers and going at an average of 65 mph - we can actually get from the LAX area (where we live) to Marin County (where we have family too) on ONE TANK of gas. One time, we (well, my daughter does the driving) actually drove the car for 13-hours non-stop, other than for gas.<br/>Now that my grandson is getting bigger, it's time for my daughter to upgrade to a bigger vehicle as well - putting Jason in his car seat in a 2-door hatchback can be very hard on your back eventually. My daughter is the only person who can put Jason in his car seat in this car because......

cheoutee says "Lightweight and Durable for Grandparents and more." about Combi Cosmo Stroller

My youngest grandson (now 21 months) has been using the Combi system since he was born. It is slightly different from this model but the concept is the same. The wheels are lightweight and can go "off-roading" on sidewalks, sand, gravel, tree roots, yard, parks, up-and-down-the-escalators... pretty much everywhere. There are separate individual brakes for each wheel which are very valuable as they help you straighten the stroller as you push, sometimes. The stroller folds easily and takes up very little room. My daughter has a 2-door hatchback and the stroller fits in the trunk even when we go on a road trip with 4 pieces of luggage (pilot cases plus baby gear). You can also stash the stroller (folded and upright) immediately behind one of the front seats, and not create a "blind spot" for the driver, for convenience sake's. All in all, I recommend parents and grandparents to check out the Combi brand. I see it as a "Lexus" compared to the BMW Bugaboo and Mercedes Benz Mclaren......
