chas1490 says "great book if you can make it to the end" about Certain Girls

I am a big fan of Jennifer Weiner's writing. Her characters are familiar and easy to relate to. This book starts off fast, which is a must for me, but hits a lull in the middle. I laughed out loud and even cried which are signs of a great book if you ask me. I am often disappointed by the endings but not with this book. An easy beach read....

chas1490 says "love it" about Chanel Coco Mademoiselle

I bought this perfume the first time on a recommendation on a friend and boy am I glad I did. Every time I wear it I get lots of compliments. The scent is not overpowering or too flowery smelling yet it doesn't wear off. It seems to last forever and is well worth the money....

chas1490 says "best out there" about Bare Escentuals Well Rested

I tried this product for the first time several years ago and have never looked back since. I prefer the natural look which is easy to achieve with this brand. I have never like the shine and heaviness you get with liquid foundation so the powder that doesn't "melt" off in the summertime is perfection. Beware of copycats......you can certainly tell the difference....

chas1490 says "average" about Medela Pump In Style Advanced Backpack

I initially bought the Avent Isis IQ single pump but after coming home from the hospital and trying to get my milk to come in, a double pump was a must. I bought the Medela from the hospital upon their and friends' suggestion. It is easy to use and clean and pretty much gets the job done but I have found it to be pretty uncomfortable if used often and the Medela does not seem to express nearly the amount of milk the Avent does....

chas1490 says "my baby's favorite by far" about Gerber Nuk Pacifier

I started out with Avent pacifiers since I was using Avent bottles. The nipple on the pacifier is way too long and my baby was gagging on it. I went to the store and bought one of every pacifier they made. She preferred the Nuk to all others and now it's the only one she will take. The shape and angle is perfect for a baby's mouth....

chas1490 says "superior to all other diapers" about Pampers Swaddlers Diapers

I started out with these diapers and loved them but thought I should try out other brands just to make sure there wasn't something better out there as far as value. I would buy these diapers even if they were 5 times as much as all others. The fit and absorption cannot be surpassed. They are the closest to cloth I have found, although many others claim to be. Thank you Pampers!...

chas1490 says "love this pillow" about Boppy Bare Naked Pillow

Not only is this pillow great as support for feeding, it provides a comfortable area for your baby to sit. It is extremely portable and doesn't take up much room. The cover easily comes off and can be thrown in the washer. This is one of the best baby products out there....

chas1490 says "good stuff" about Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo

I recently bought this product for my 3 month old because she really started to get bored and constantly is moving her legs. Although she is still a little young for the bouncer, with my help she really enjoys it. Lights and sounds are great and hold attention well....

chas1490 says "great chair" about Boppy Cradle in Comfort Baby Bouncer

My daughter loves this chair. It allows her to be in a secure place while still interacting with us. It is super soft and comfortable for her with no hard parts that ever touch her delicate skin. Well worth the money. Only drawback I have found is that it takes up a good bit of room and does not have any way to fold to occupy a smaller space....

chas1490 says "best that I've found on the market" about Avent Baby Bottles

I have tried a number of bottles and come back to the Avent. They are a comfortable shape, easy to clean and store and overall good value. My baby seems to prefer the nipple wide nipple shape to other more narrow ones. The only drawback is the bottles leak sometimes eventhough the nipples/lids are on very tight....

chas1490 says "save your money" about Select Comfort Air Bed

My husband and I were sucked in by the guarantee and the idea that you can customize your mattress to the user. In theory this is great but in actuality it is terrible and causes great pain. Honestly by the time you get the bed set up, 30 days just isn't enough time to decide you hate the bed so that you can send it back in time. We have the king version which is simply two twins pushed together with a mattress topper. There is a canyon in the middle of the mattresses and we were sent a foam insert which did absolutely nothing. We have had the mattress less than two years and already have had to get the pump replaced. We had to buy a memory foam topper on the bed to make it bearable....
