charliecat31 says "Very close to sugar taste" about PureVia All Natural Zero Calorie Sweetener

I really like the idea of using PureVia because I don't like artificial sweeteners. PureVia is all natural, so I'm not putting what could be harmful chemicals into mine and my families diet. The taste of PureVia isn't exactly like sugar, but it's very sweet. I think there are many great uses for this and I'll be buying it again!
...

charliecat31 says "Excellent!" about Kraft - Philadelphia Sundried Tomato and Basil Cream Cheese Spread

The sun dried tomato basil is fantastic! Great flavor, excellent texture. Just the great quality and flavor you would expect from Philadelphia Cream Cheese. So mcuh you can do with it too. Great right out of the container spread on some crackers, great for a spread on sandwiches, or as a dip for vegetables or pita bread. It's smooth, rich and creamy and the balance of flavors is prefect!
...

charliecat31 says "Hides pores better than anything!" about Clinique Instant Pore Perfector

This product is my favorite product of all! I tried many, many makeup primers, but none of them really hid large pores they way I wanted them to. But this product actually does! It leaves my skin so smooth and even that i use it as an all over face primer. It makes my foundation last longer and go on more smooth and leaves my skin looking practically flawless. It also leaves a nice matte finish. It's $17 and you only need a little bit, so the tube lasts a really long time. I actually buy two at a time because I'm paranoid they'll stop making it one day and I'll be crushed! It comes in light and deep. Light is for most skin tones and deep is for the darkest of skin tones. Another great way to use Pore Perfector is on top of your foundation during the day for touch ups. Just be sure to DAB it on, don't rub... DAB and it won't disturb your foundation or look cakey. Pore Perfector is also great to wear on it's own. On days when you don't want or need to wear a bunch...
...

charliecat31 says "Makes skin look terrible and itches!" about Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals Foundation

Bare Escentuals is not for me. I know many, many people love this makeup line, but I'm not one of them. Bare Escentuals made my lines and wrinkles look a milion times worse and large pores look like craters on the moon! It's got too much shimmer for me and doesn't look 'dewy', it looks weird. This line of mineral makeup also makes my skin itch so bad I want to claw my face off! Especially when it gets warm and I start to perspire. Then there's the price, it's a very expensive makeup. There are a couple of pro's. Color matching is pretty easy and it doesn't leave a line of demarkation and has a built in spf. But I've found other, much less expensive mineral makeup brands that I like better and don't make my skin look worse when I put it on. This is one makeup that you definately have to try and see if it's for you or not... Unfortunately, it's not readily available, so you have to find a store that carries it if you want to try it before you make a purchase.
...

charliecat31 says "Convenient! But could be better" about OPI Nicole by OPI Nic's Sticks

This nail polish is very convenient! It's a little pen and you pump the end and the polish comes out the brush. The brush is the right size, not too fat, not too thin, etc.. Comes in great colors (that I don't think are available in regular OPI polishes) and wears great. The problems are a big downfall though. The pen leaves polish on the brush and though the cap seals tightly, there is an issue with left over polish getting goopy on the end of the brush. Also, be careful not to twist the cap too tightly or it will crack. Another issue is the amount of polish that comes out onto the brush. There needs to be more control of this. One pump of the pen gives out a pretty large "glop" of polish and there's no place to wipe the brush off like with a traditional bottle of polish. With some practice, you can figure out how to push the pump about half way and that seems to work better. Nic Sticks are better in pale colors that don't show flaws quite as much. Or if you can...
...

charliecat31 says "More expensive, but lasts" about O.P.I. Nail Lacquer

OPI nail polishes are more expensive than drugstore brands but quite a bit. But for me, they last much longer on my nails that less expensive brands. Most nail polishes chip and peel on my nails within a day or two. But OPI lasts for at the least four or five days. On my toes, it lasts until I take it off. then there are the color choices. OPI does a fantastic job of giving such a huge variety of colors and depths. Plus, so many of the names are just fun! I love that I can choose between tons of different pale pinks or deep plums or vibrant reds and choose the one that is just right for me and my skin tone. I learned a long time ago that not every color looks good on everyone, it really matters what your skin tone is. Another great thing about OPI is that the polish doesn't go bad as quickly as some brands. I've had bottle of OPI nail polish for several years that is just like new. Still the right color and still the right consistancy. It's a great polish!
...

charliecat31 says "Investment, but worth it!" about Clarisonic Skin Cleaning System

I love my Sonicare toothbrush, so I was very optomistic about the Clarisonic. The thing that held me back for so long was the price tag. $200 is a lot of money to spend on washing your face. But after just a few uses, I was hooked!!! I aldready exfoliate regularly, but the Clarisonic takes my skin to that next level of clean and soft. My skin has never felt softer or cleaner. My pores are a big issue for me. I have struggled with blackheads and large pores for many years. But after just a few uses of the Clarisonic, I could already see how much clearer my pores are. This is definately an investment piece and will not fit into everyone's budget, but it is well worth saving up for. There are many great features to the Clarisonic that are all extremely easy to change, including: you can adjust the power level to normal or high, depending on the strength you want. It comes set to give you a one minute cycle that beeps at intervals to let you know when to move to a...
...

charliecat31 says "This made my huge pores invisible!" about Bare Escentuals Rareminerals Skin Revival Treatment Night Light By Bare Escentuals

Rare Minerals changed my skin! I had huge pores around my nose that I hated and after a few weeks of using RM I noticed they were much smaller. After a month or so, I couldn't see my HUGE pores anymore!!! It has firmed my skin, reduced my fine lines and wrinkles and calmed the redness around my nose. It's an expensive product, but the changes have been so dramatic that I'll keep using it!! Actually I'm getting ready to order my third one!...
