charlesj says "they defraud their customers on the rebate, what about my warreny" about Hanns-G HW194D 19" LCD Widescreen Monitor

My monitor works fine but if anything did happen I wouldn't want a warrenty that says Hanns g on it. Google Hanns g rebate fraud (try different words) and check out what happened to tons of people who bought Hanns g monitors a year ago. Hannd g offered $100 rebates last November AND NEVER PAID THEM. Lucky various retailers (including the one I bought mine from) covered their customers loss, but ask yourself 'if a company screws its customers out of the rebates they offered, what happens it I need them for warrenty service'. Its not worth taking that risk....

charlesj says "perfect low cost, high capacity storage" about Kingston DataTransfer 4GB Flash Drive

You can always fing Kingston on sale somewhere. Its not expensive and has 4gb on a thumbdrive. Why shell out for some fancy titanium thumbdrive when memory haves in price every year. 4 gigs on your keychain should keep you happy for a few years, and if it stops working for some reason eventually, memory will be a lot cheaper then anyway....

charlesj says "you cant go wrong" about SanDisk - Sansa c250 2GB MP3 Players

Small, 2 gb reliable flash memory, and uses your own rechargeable (or disposible if you insist) batteries instead of expensive propriarity batteries makes this an excellent choice. The screen is too small if you plan on using your mp3 player for photos or video, but otherwise you cant go wrong...

charlesj says "overall -a good value at a discount since the new model are out" about Microsoft - Zune Media Player

Now that the new Zune models are out, check out the discounts on last years model. I purchaced a 30 gb model for $90.. Yes Apple did it earlier and better, but why do you need more than 30 gb. Music, photos and videos on a 3 inch screen. I hate propriatary batteries, but all the large hard drive models (as well as most of the flash models) have them. Battery life is reasonable, and can be extended by turning off the wifi (which is basically useless on this itam) in the settings. Read the negetives elsewhere and then decide if the value and your needs are satisfied with this....

charlesj says "a great automatic camera for the amateur who wants a better zoom" about Panasonic - Lumix DMC-LZ3

a reasonably priced automatic digital with a above average zoom (6X), it has optical image stabilization and pre-settings for different conditions. You can set exposure levels and provides eaasy analytical tools for an above average auto-focus digital camera with a -good enough- megapixal setting. recommended...
