chaoticfun says "Loved that the jeans are lined with jersery" about Gap Jeans for Baby

I bought several sizes of these jeans when they were on sale at our local Baby Gap. I LOVED that they are lined with a very soft jersey material. When I brought them out of the closet to put on our son, my husband raised the question of the denim being too rough on his skin. I showed him the interior of the jeans and he felt them. His next comment was how soft they were! — — I would now buy these at full price if I hadn't already bought several sizes when I could get a good deal! — — My only concern is that they may get a little warm during late spring or early summer, but we will probably just dress our son in shorts or light pants at that point...

chaoticfun says "Great for women of any age" about O, The Oprah Magazine

When I was pregnant, I decided to re-evaluate my magazine subscriptions. With all the baby and parenting books and magazines I was starting to accumulate, I decided to only keep two magazine subscriptions. O (Oprah's mag) was one of the keepers. It is so well rounded and covers so many real life topics. I love the book and movie reviews. I also really like the clothing reviews and suggestions because they are down to earth and realistic, which makes them very different from the clothing reviews you find in so many other magazines. The clothing featured in Oprah's magazine is actually wearable on a daily basis and you won't look hideous wearing it! — — I have subscribed to this magazine for years and only have three complaints along the way: — — 1) I sometimes receive my magazine AFTER it has already hit the newstands. I called their subscription line about this and was told there was nothing they could do about...

chaoticfun says "The 5-8 pound size are great for preemies or smaller babies!" about Gerber Variety Onesies

Our son was born six weeks early, so none of his clothes fit! We had to quickly find some preemie outfits and needed some onesies to go under them for extra warmth. The gerber onesies tend to run small, but for us this was a blessing! The size for 5-8lbs were such a life saver for us! If you have a small baby or a preemie, that size is the way to go! —...

chaoticfun says "Perfect for smaller babies!" about Chicco KeyFit Car Seat

As a first time parent and the product of a safety conscience family, I wanted something that was super safe for my son. I narrowed our choices through online searches, and then we headed to a local specialty baby store to see the products in person. At first, I was hesitant about his car seat because of the hefty price. However, once I saw how easily it locks into its base and how easy it is to get out of the car, I was sold! It is a super safe seat and great for small babies. We planned on our son being a big baby, but when he arrived six weeks early at under 5 lbs, we felt truly blessed to already have the car seat that the NICU nurses recommended. Since he was so small, he had to pass a car seat test before leaving the hospital...it was to make sure that he could medically handle sitting in the car seat for extended periods of time. At 7 days old and less than five pounds, he sat in this car seat snugly and secure for over 90 minutes...

chaoticfun says "Love this! Worth the money on just the first time we used it!" about Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo

We bought this after hearing about it from a friend who has a child just a little older than our son. She was talking about how much her little girl loved it, so we decided to get one for our little man. — — Assembly was simple, and we put it together in about 15 minutes or less. The only tool needed is a phillips head screwdriver...and that is only if you intend to put batteries in it for the sounds. (some parents probably choose not to do this!) — — Our son was really happy to just sit in the jumparoo. He is a little small for his age because he was a preemie, but has the skills required to sit in the jumparoo. So, we put a couple of towels under his feet so he could touch and give himself leverage. As he discovered each little part and toy, his eyes would get really big and he would give us the biggest grin! He was a very happy boy. He stayed in it for about 15 minutes and we had to help him bounce, but we know that it won't be long until he will...
