chamilet says "Free access to your FICO Score is its saving grace" about Washington Mutual - Visa Card

This used to be the PayPal credit card. It charges the highest interest rate of all of my cards (and I have quite a few). I would close the account but it does allow me to monitor my FICO score for free, so overall I'd have to give it a thumbs up just for that. My advice: good card if you pay off the entire balance monthly. If you can't, still get the card so that you can monitor your FICO score, but don't charge anything on it. Unless they give you one of those offers with a super low interest rate for the life of the balance....

chamilet says "Aren't Annual Fees a bit passe?" about Bank of America - Visa Card

Sometimes I'm not sure why I'm keeping this card. They are good about increasing my credit limit when I need it, that's for sure. But once a year I'm reminded that they have this ancient Annual Fee. I bank with them for goodness sake, so I'm not sure why I have to pay a fee to have a credit card with them. Still, they do offer me deals like low interest payments for the life of the debt on balance transfers (there's also a 0% option, but that's only for a limited amount of time). Overall, I guess the plusses outweigh the minuses....

chamilet says "BEST SHOW EVER!!!" about Lost

From the very first episode of the very first season I knew this was going to be a great show. There have been some rough moments, but I haven't been disappointed. One day, I will have the entire series on DVD and it will be a glorious 122 hour movie that I can relive at any time. For anyone who wants to find out what it's all about, they should rent the DVDs for seasons 1-3. Most people can end up breezing through an entire season in a week, it's that engaging. Now that the show has been given a guaranteed end date, it has picked up the pace to an almost dizzying one. Every single episode I watch, at the end, I go BEST EPISODE EVER!!! And then the next week, they top it! Unbelievable!!!
...

chamilet says "Almost as good as Diet Vanilla Coke!" about Vanilla Coke Zero

When the Coca Cola company did away with Diet Vanilla Coke, I was devastated. It was such a delightful product. It took several tries before I liked it, but once I no longer thought of the vanilla flavoring as "strange," I fell in love. Then, it was gone. Not certain why, because they still had Vanilla Coke.

I tried Diet Pepsi Vanilla, but it just didn't measure up. So I went back to my lonely existence.

When I saw Vanilla Coke Zero on the shelf, I dared hope that I might find my old love. Guess what? Can't tell the difference. It's wonderfully sweet. Almost like a dessert, actually. And if you're on a diet and can't afford a dessert, this is the perfect substitute!
...
