celestialstar03 says "It was pretty cool but could've had more hand on stuff for kids." about Dallas World Aquarium - Dallas, TX

My toddler loved looking at the the different animals, we did go upstairs to the rainforest which is the coolest thing, I wish they woul've had more hands on learning stations for the kids or something to help them grasp about the nature of the ocean and the animals a little more. There were lots of fish and aquariums to look at, it was about 17 to get in for the aquarium and the rainforest on a saturday, they have a cute little cafe downstairs that isn't too bad. The kids loved but it was something we could only do for 4 or 5 hours not all day like the outings we like. We have a smaller stroller and we still had problems with some of the walks and there aren't ramps everywhere so get ready to walk all the way around or lug strollers up stairs....

celestialstar03 says "Good food, pricey, fun for the kids and great if you like noisy." about Rainforest Cafe - Grapevine, TX

I liked this restaurant so much, very fun for the kids and the adults. The decor is really cool, it does get very noisy in there though. Every 10 or 15 minutes all the robots start moving and making animal noises which my son didn't appreciate until after about 20 minutes (he spent the first couple of minutes crying), he still didn't want to walk up to them even after that, they are full sized and a little wierd to look at at first. The gift shop was really cool, still pricey but what do you do. The food was pretty good too....

celestialstar03 says "Mystery finance fees and high fees if you get behind." about Citi - AAdvantage Platinum Mastercard

I have this card, I am going through a divorce and lost my job at the same time. They didn't work with me at all and when I missed two payments of 120 each they decided to give me an extra 2000 dollars in fees. Do not get behind, for my minimum payment to catch back up they want almost 1000 for missing 240 worth. Be careful with citi and don't get behind. As far as thier response everyone goes through something and I should not have missed my payments....

celestialstar03 says "Don't miss a single day, you'll regret it." about AcneFree Clear Skin Blemish Treatment 3 step system

Acne free is supposed to work in three steps, you use the soap which dries your skin, then the cleanser which is very thin like water and then the refining/ finishing mask which you leave on and once again dries your skin. I used it everyday religiously and while i used it I saw an improvement, it didn't cure it while it was there or keep it from coming back like it said, it just made it less red and it didnt scar as bad as usual. I missed one day and the acne came back with a vengence before I only had it on my cheeks, once it came back it was everywhere, even down the underside of my chin and my neck, i was itchy and miserable and have not used it since. It is slightly exspensive and not something i would recommend.
...

celestialstar03 says "My son can't get them out but I can't it's a crock." about Safety 1st Outlet Plugs

I bought these when my son turned a year old. He could pull them out and so could our six month old twin cousins who thought they made great chew toys. No child swallowed them thankfully and we got them put up quickly. I myself could not get them out though, at least not without hurting my fingers and nails. They were cheap and you get alot for that price so I suppose you get what you pay for. I would not recommend them though, especially if you have toddlers around. My son thought they were great for throwing and they were interesting to color on but that's about all the good uses we found for them....

celestialstar03 says "The exact same as All Free and Clear." about Dreft Laundry Detergent

We used dreft with my son and we generally liked it, it doesn't take out spit up stains and the smell is kinda powdery but otherwise great. After using it for a year I started comparison shopping and found out that all free and clear is generally the same thing. My son has a severe skin condition and I thought it would irritate him or me(it's genetic) but neither of us have a problem. It is half as exspensive as dreft and good on all your laundry not just baby. If you are only going to use dreft on baby clothes and are sparing about it, then it's a good buy but overall it's very exspensive and I have better things to buy.
...

celestialstar03 says "These are the same as walmart brand and twice as exspensive." about Pampers Sensitive Wipes

We did not care for these too much, they did the job but were not worth the price. Go to walmart and buy the parents choice for NEWBORNS it's identically the same. My son has a form of eczema and anything including the water breaks this kid out and it was sensitive enough for him but the same as parents choice and twice as much. The tub is poorly designed, it's plastic and bulky, if you drop it it opens and goes everywhere, if you pull out the wipes it's hard to thread back in and the lid lets air in so it dries out your wipes. Best for these is to put them in a ziploc bag and use them from it. In general this is not something I would recommend because of the price. They are available everywhere which is a bonus we liked but they are also exspensive everywhere....

celestialstar03 says "It's got a ot of features but no remote" about First Years Winnie the Pooh Nursery Projector

Attaches to crib or stands upright for convenience ,Cloud displays soft soothing images Balloon projects Pooh characters for baby Images rotate for visual tracking Plays Winnie the Pooh song, plus children's and classical music, and nature sounds, too Choice of 3 settings: sounds, dreamy images and lights; dreamy images and lights only; sounds only Automatic shut-off after 10 minutes conserves batteries Volume control. The little straps hold it to the crib very well and the window doesn't scratch easily. The lights are dim enough that they don't wake the baby up. The lights rotate in the window and it plays about 5 songs that are traditional lullabys. This little thing was pretty neat, it's durable, we passed it on to our twin cousins and now they love it. My son still fusses that he wants it back, I think he used it as a way to stay awake, go figure.
...

celestialstar03 says "This is such a cute toy." about Fisher-Price Blues Clues Karaoke Radio

The blues clues karaoke toy was cute, it has 6 different songs it plays, a silly sounds button, and a freeze tag game. For the game you dance until steve tells you to freeze and then stay frozen until he tells you to dance again. The songs it plays are general blues clues songs non educational but the kids love them. It is brightly colored and has blue and steve on it. The microphone works for about the first 3 months, my son loved it even after the microphone broke so we werent too upset. It doesn't eat batteries that quick and the batteries are easy to put in. This is one of the better toys that we have owned as far as durability and it's small enough to be nicely portable. There is no off switch or volume button so if you accidently push it it will start and not stop until it's done. We did like this toy alot.
...

celestialstar03 says "We loved this until we lost the foot pump." about Thomas and Friends Thomas Junior ready bed with foot pump

This thing cost us about 25 dollars, we bought it for camping. My son thought it was really cool because it was thomas and his own bed, he took it to daycare too. He couldn't blow it up by himself and the foot pump took forever for me to do. The pump has a huge hole that no other pump fits so we couldn't use an air compressor and they do sell one for it but its more exspensive then the bed. This thing has a built in pillow, it says 3 positions it really only has one otherwise it just feels flat. The blanket is attached too, it feels more like a sheet and made my son claustrophobic. My son was 42 inches tall when he stopped being able to fit into it so it's for toddlers and short children. It deflates and rolls up to fit into a shoulder bag for your kids to take with them. All in all it wasn't too bad for the money, we inflated and almost never deflated it, he liked it for naptime and stuff like that so we left it at our babysitters....

celestialstar03 says "This was a good cheap crib/toddler bed." about Walmart Brand Converto-Crib

I bought this thing at walmart, it is made of wood and converts from a full size crib to a day bed and then to a twin size. It was about 100 dollars, sits a half a foot off the floor and comes in white and natural colors. It was annoying to put together and convert, you will definitely need some tools. It is pretty durable, the wood is kinda flimsy feeling but it stands up well to what your kids dish out. The side does not come down easily as a crib to get your child out, it is not low enough for short people like me to deal with tall kids easily. The day bed only has rails on one side *i know duh it's a daybed* but still my son is a rolly polly and with a mattress and springs he was really high up. The twin bed has no rails, and you almost need extra boards underneath to make it sturdy enough for a larger child. This is an okay buy if you need something cheap, you want something versatile, and you want to get it close to home w/o dealing with a furniture store....

Let me say I adore this camera. There are so many features it is unreal, you will definitely want your manual but if you just don't read like me you can still figure it out. I have had this for about a year and a half, I have taken over 3000 pictures with it and never been dissatisfied. You will need a steady hand or tripod for some of the features. The detail on the macro and micro is terrific, I take alot of florals and it gets every detail. It also takes quick pictures of my fast son and our dog and is versatile in all lighting. It comes with alot of nice software for fixing your photos and cataloging them. The panoramic feature is hard to figure out but worth it. I love this camera, and if I had the choice I wouldn't change over to a new one.
...

celestialstar03 says "This is a great durable and energetic little toy." about Tomy Push Along Thomas

This is a very cute toy, it's durable and good to get the kids up. My son loved to push it when he was 2 then when he was 3 he took the handle off and played with it with his other cars and trucks and he still does as a 4 year old. We do have a problem of him swinging it with the handle on it, kinda like a bat. It plays a song that is repetitive and is not the typical thomas song but my son didn't care and it wasn't that loud and it has an on/off switch. It has a pretty detailed look for the price and the plastic is hard to damage. Overall we really liked this toy....

celestialstar03 says "It's very cheap looking in person but was expensive." about Thomas and Friends Costume: Child's Size 4-6

I bought this outfit for my son for halloween he wears a 4, he was walking on it the whole way, it says 4-6 it means 6. He couldn't put it on by himself because you have to tie in the back of the neck. The material is cheap and tears easily and the hat is is very cheap and has no sizer or elastic/other material to hold it on. It does look like a 3-d Thomas but it's not very stiff so Thomas's head bends which upset my son. It also doesn't do anything like light up or make noise and he didn't like that either. He is usually very imaginative and loves dress up but found this very boring....

celestialstar03 says "Cingular is reliable, easy to deal with, and slightly expensive." about AT&T (formerly Cingular)

Cingular is a pretty good service except when using a go phone there are many fees you don't know about. They are very reliable as far as dropped/not recieved calls goes, the customer service is easy to deal with as long as you are not trying to use your phone insurance. Phone insurance is not a waste though because there are a ton more fees if you lose or break your phone. They have many phones to choose from at decent prices, best values are with family plans. Cingular to other cingular customers doesn't count on minutes, buying text messaging is cheap and you can add new features from your phone. All in all it is the best provider I have dealt with....
