I have never owned a dvd-r before, and I am loving it. The Toshiba D-R400 is a great machine in that it is easy to use, the picture quality is great, you can add titles to your recordings, divide them by chapters if you chose, you can even display a slideshow of jpg images from your pc on your tv with this machine. I am really enjoying it. The only negative thing I can say, which is minor, is that the text on the remote doesn't show up very well in dim light. I notice this when I was trying to learn the remote, and my husband had the lights down lower during a movie, or when I am using the keys to add a title to a program. This is minor compared to the overall value of the product....

I have used Guardian Angels pet sitters to take care of my pets a few times now, and they have gone way beyond my expections. Jo comes to my home, will walk my dogs, feed them, play with them, and make sure they are well. I feel completely at ease when I need to go out of town with her taking care of my pets and my home. She goes above and beyond every time by taking in my mail, watering my inside and outside plants, and taking the extra time and care with one of my dogs who is very shy and scared. She will sit with her and make her comfortable enough to go outside and make sure she eats. Embarrassingly enough, Jo even cleaned up after the shy dog that had an "accident" . She scrubbed my carpet several times before I returned home as part of her service. She is a warm person that obviously loves dogs. As part of the service, Guardian Angels will leave you a report on how your dogs did, and what they did while you were gone. I highly highly highly recommend their service.

Great food, good service, nice people. I went here for breakfast with a friend that I haven't seen in a while. They give you a lot of food!! I had the Denver omlet, and it was good, and it was good to look at, too.My friend ordered an omlet, also, but with tons of special instructions. You know, eggbeaters instead of regular eggs, low fat syrup on the pancakes that came with them, decaf coffee, etc, etc. The waitress didn't even bat an eye. On top of that, we ended up staying there over 4 hours just talking. I know, that is bad manners. Again, the waitress was super nice to us. She didn't mind a bit, and kept refilling our coffee. This place is nice inside, and clean. Several times I saw different waitresses and the manager come up to tables and greet them like they were old friends, obviously the regulars. I would definately recommend this place for the food and the service and the people....
