Once one of my favorites, KMart only leaves me wondering how it hasn't gone out of business yet. Low stock, meaningless sales, tacky advertising. KMart needs a total makeover to survive and that probably won't help either. We still get their weekly ads but I can't seem to find the advertised products with any regularly. Just not happy with the quality at this time.

Our Yellow Labrador Retriever is truly a family member. She's smart, loyal, dependable. She helps take care of our kids, even walking them down to the school bus at the end our long driveway. She waits with them and when the bus door closes she sprints back up the drive and into the house. That is her most cherished family job and she does it well! She is now 12 and shows no sign of hip problems, knock on wood. I would get another lab in a second.

A multitude of games make this a great game site. I don't mind paying for unlimited game use, however, I do resent having to pay to clothe my little virtual being and purchase little props for it. And, what are all the points for? I have millions of points and why can't I use those points for extras on the site? Just don't get it!

With a house full of computer users, I could never get online for more than 30 minutes at a time. So, I purchased the Samsung NC10 Netbook laptop. It's small but the keyboard keys are ample and easy to use -- I'm using it right now as a matter of fact! It's so wonderful to have a totally portable mini laptop to cart around wherever I go. I mainly use it to email and go online. The battery life is incredible. I only give it a FOUR STAR because the screen is a tad small which sometimes makes it difficult to maneuver.

BGSU is one of those forgotten Ohio universities. It's tucked away in Northwest Ohio, south of Toledo on Rt. 75. It's big but not overwhelmingly so. (Not Ohio State size for sure!) Faculty still known most of the students in their majors and you can get appointments with counseling/advising staff without waiting a month. Good meal plans (you don't pay by the swipe), good health center and plans, a wide array of majors and degrees. Very reasonably priced as college goes....

After a series of broken flip cell phones, I purchased the LG enV (not the new version, the one available winter 07-08). It is a little larger and heavier but it is absolutely the sturdiest, most reliable phone I have ever owned. The QWERTY keyboard is great for when I text my three daughters. I added a GPS function and it is awesome and I use it daily. I thought the small screen would be an issue with the GPS but it is 100% functional for me. I have added internet functions yet because I'm too 'cheap.'...

Rockne's is great -- ALWAYS friendly and fast service. However, it's not the healthiest place to eat. Mostly fried or with heavy sauces and dressings. But if you've watched your food intake all week and want to splurge, try Rockne's for a great burger and fries....

Mypoints.com is one of my daily sites. I go there to earn points on shopping, surveys, new websites and offers and then exchange them for gift certificates for restaurants, stores or gas. It's slow going sometimes if you're not an online shopper it's hard to earn points quick enough for gift cards, but it's FREE! Even if it takes you a year - who cares? You've just earned a free gift certificate to eat with our family!...

The Garmin c320 GPS is a life saver. It helps me find restaurants, gas stations, drug stores, hotels in strange cities. Takes me from place to place - even sounds like we have an extra friend. We rely on our Garmin so much we've named her Helena and talk to her as she talks to us! Only complaint - cold or warm weather - the device will not stay attached to the windshield so we place the unit in the console or someplace else in the car. Then it sometimes loses it's connection....

Although I've had a few worrisome months with the price of gas topping $4 here in Ohio, it's now down to $1.62 and I love my Ford Explorer again! Especially now that it's cold, snowy, icy, blustering outside. It hauls me to and from work, shopping, carpooling kids. It's warm, easy to drive, has great traction. Sits outdoors 24/7 and always starts like a charm....
