cautigirl says "great if you have the need for speed and frequency" about Medela Pump In Style Advanced Backpack

If you're looking for a bargain this is not the product for you. If you only need to pump every once and a while- you may not need all of the bells and whistles that this product has. However, if you are a working mom, a really busy person always on the go, then this system is for you. I have been both a stay at home mom and a working mother. I could not afford to have a medela pump with my first child. I had the avent hand pump. And while I persevered and pumped successfully for nine months, a quality electric pump would have made it easier. My friend bought me a different electric pump, but I found that the suction cup did not fit my breasts. It would only allow me to express a very minute amount of milk. It just didn't have the power or the quality I needed. My second child barely took a bottle until she was wiened so the hand pump was fine with her. However, I really needed it with my third child as I went back to work after six weeks with her. I was fortunate...
...

cautigirl says "the best diaper cream i've tried" about Desitin Diaper Rash Cream

I didn't really need to use diaper creams that often until my third child came along. I may have used it once or twice with my son and once with my middle daughter. But, when my third one came along I should have bought stock in the company. It seemed she had a very sensitive bottom and was very prone to yeast infections. In addition to an antibacterial cream we were instructed to use the original desitin formula. It cleared break outs up in no time. It got us through a tough six months. She's grown out of that sensitivity, but it was glad to have a product that we could rely on to bring her relief and give us some piece of mind about her condition....

cautigirl says "Best bottle for the dollar" about Avent Baby Bottles

I nursed all of my children. However, when I had to be away from them, it was great to know that there was another "go to" option. I found that the avent bottles worked well with all three of my children. And when my middle daughter weined herself, it was on an avent bottle. That is saying a lot because she would not take a bottle when she was nursing, but the avent bottle is the one she went to over the playtex nurser and all other generic brands. It's a pretty good value for the use that I got out of it.

...

cautigirl says "It's a great learning tool which is self-contained and engaging." about LeapFrog Leap Pad

This a good product for children K-3rd grade. It could also be good for pre-k students if they are interested in reading and have a fairly good attention span. There are several different books that you can get which makes it versatile. The downside is that the cartridges/book packets are pretty expensive- about $20 unless you find them on clearance. Overall this is a great product for introducing kids to reading or reinforcing reading skills....
