I've made my list and checked it twice. Here are Santa's picks for the best Christmas movies of all time!

1. The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992) - Your favorite Muppets, like Kermit and Miss Piggy, re-tell Charles Dickens' classic story about Ebenezer Scrooge and the ghosts of Christmases past, present and future.

Why I picked The Muppet Christmas Carol as one of the best Christmas movies: This is one of my favorite versions of the story because it's good for all ages. Children are especially able to understand the plot as it's told by some of the most loveable characters ever. I chose it over Disney's version because I enjoy the puppets and performance by Michael Caine.

2. Love Actually (2003) - Bill Nighy, Colin Firth, Emma Thompson, Keirta Knightley and a slew of others star in the tale of four couples dealing with love in the month leading up to Christmas. The characters' lives are all loosely related, so it's fun to watch the story unfold and discover how love really is all around (like...

Best Christmas Holiday movies is a two part essay that will concentrate on several movies that may be just under your radar when you think of Christmas movies, but you should probably consider as wonderful alternative holiday fare to watch. I'll mention the most popular ones, my alternates and at the end of part 2 some so bad they are good choices too.

I'll run through the more obvious popular ones first:

The best CHRISTMAS CAROL (there are several and all are fun to watch) is the one with Alistair Sims made in 1951 sometimes called SCROOGE, sometimes called A Christmas Carol. It's based on the timeless A Christmas Carol written by Charles Dickens. The television version with George C. Scott is very good too!!! There's also the decent musical version with Albert Finney...

"It's the most wonderful time of year!" (for a movie!)

Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat and it's a great time to make some popcorn or hot chocolate or both and curl up on the couch with your family. There are many great Christmas movies for families, including the classics It's a Wonderful Life (1946) and Miracle on 34th Street (1947) but here is an eclectic list of our favorite Christmas movies in no particular order.

Yea, a goofy name and a goofy book about a goofy girl. Still a good, fun read. Tori Spelling shares here life story from childhood to motherhood. The drama, the money, the lavish lifestyle, the bad mistakes, the questionable behavior... it's all detailed here in the words of one of American's favorite little rich girls. I never followed the original Beverly Hills 90210 very closely (nor do I today with the new 90210) but still enjoyed hearing about the behind-the-scenes action in Tori's book.

Stori Telling includes a photo collection of baby pictures, family photos, celebrity shots and recent pics of Tori and the people in and out of her life. These are sort of before and after shots of when Tori didn't quite know herself or what she wanted. Now, she seems to be a mature, down-to-earth woman with a good (yet ditsy) head on her shoulders. I loved hearing how she grew in to herself as a woman and mother. No matter what anyone says about her, Tori is absolutely a dotting mom who seems to have......

All these products can be used for Yoga. Some are exclusively for Yoga.

1. Spri Xercise Ball - elite come in other colors but the red is 65 mm. I'm 5'4" and use a 55 mm ball. These are easy to inflate and deflate slowly. At $50 this one is expensive but if your loved one will be using it a lot or several people in the household will join in then you want a good ball. You will get an instruction sheet but I'll give you some ideas of what you can do with this ball.

You can use the Xercise Ball to work your triceps very nicely. The triceps muscles in on the underside of your upper arm. Hold the ball using the palm of your hands. Raise the ball overhead and then bring it down behind your head like you would do in an overhead triceps extension. Make sure your elbows are pointed forward. To make this more difficult squeeze the ball on the way down.

Each holiday season I look forward to the wonderful old and new Christmas holiday movie choices. It is wonderful to sit down with the children and relieve my childhood memories of the animated classics as well as revisit some of my favorites throughout adulthood. It is with slight embarrassment that I admit to wanting to read sTori Telling when it was first published. I had my share of obsessively watching 90210 for several years and also spent a small fortune on gossip magazines that told of Tori Spelling's extravagant lifestyle. Like most closet 90210 fans, I was interested in getting the real scoop on one of Hollywood's most famous families. However, I refused to buy the book (and contribute more wealth to Tori Spelling), so I had to wait my turn on the library list.

I was pleasantly surprised at how sTori Telling sucked me in. I wasn't even halfway through the book when I found myself feeling compassion for someone fortunate enough (or so I thought) to be born into one of the wealthiest families in the United States (maybe even the world).

Tori tells her story in a funny and down-to-earth way and one can't help but like her. She seems like the type of person you would meet up with for coffee and spend hours chatting...

Well im not sure it is the BEST V-DAY gift but here is how I personally do things for my wife. It all begins early in the morning where she is awakened to a body massage and that MEANS BODY MASSAGE (nothing more). That is ALways followed by her favorite breakfast in bed. After breakfast. I ALWAYS have the ENTIRE HOUSE CLEANED. during the afternoon I have prepared a picnic type lunch compleat with the basket, we usually have our lunch on the livingroom floor due to the aare of the country that we live in. After lunch is over we spend the entire afternoon going and doing anything SHE wants. We end lhe evening with a fine dinner out somewhere then rent some movies and go back home where i make stovetop popcorn we watch movies and when its finally bedtime well thats when I get my gift

I backed off of Mother's Day gifts because even after 16 years I can't get over the hurt of losing my Mom. That was selfish of me because Mom was my Best Friend! Just over 3 years ago I also lost my Dad and it will hurt for the rest of my Life but I wanted to write this to maybe help others about what gift to give on Father's Day.

We have all went to pick out cards to give Dad on his Special Day but do you really read the words or just rush through it? I would stand and look at cards sometimes for 30 minutes or more to find one that tugged at my heart. That way I knew it meant something and Dad would get that same feeling as well. He always did and he saved every card we ever gave him in a shoebox he kept in the closet.

That was just a card to some but to Dad it meant a lot, especially after we grew up, got married and moved away. After I moved out of state picking a gift got harder and harder for me. I wanted something he would cherish and not end up in his sock drawer or the bottom of his......

I am writing about Neutrogena spray on self-tanner. It is definitely the best self-tanner I have ever tried, and I have tried about every one on the market. I love to keep a tan. In the summer I don't have a problem for I live in Florida and you can always keep a tan during most of the year here. There are a few months that it gets cool, not warm enough to keep the tan I like to keep. When I was living in Ky. it wasn't that big of a deal to go to the tanning bed. A single session was only $2.00 compared to a single session in Fl. that costs you anywhere from $7.00 to $15.00, depending on what type of bed you choose to lay in; whether it be your basic bed for beginning tanners then your upgrade beds for when you achieve your tan more and more. Therefore, I don't see myself paying that much to lay in the tanning bed for the short amount of months that I can't get a tan from the sun, so I choose to use a self tanner during those months. Neutrogena spray on tan makes it easy......

I always loved Valentine's Day, just not always was happy, when it came right down to it. Mainly because of the loneliness, I guess. It's not easy to be happy and joyful on a Valentine's Day, when you feel thoroughly alone. But only love can change this state of mind, nothing else. We all need to feel loved and cared for. Then we respond with the similar feelings, trying to do the very best for those, whom we love. And then the size of the gift or its value don't even matter, because the biggest gift of all is LOVE ITSELF. That's your greatest Valentine's Present, don't you agree? Then roses, chocolate and other stuff are just the icing on a cake. Anyway, that's my personal opinion on this matter... and you certainely are entitled to yours.

This guide is full of ideas for him and her. I loved that it was easy to scroll through and that the pictures were full of color. It was a guide that my children even looked through. How do I bring sanity to the insane job of getting gifts for almost everyone on the face of the planet? I've learned to listen. To listen to what others are saying about things they liked or disliked. I like it even better when someone takes the time to compile lists. I'm BIG on lists! And perhaps my biggest problem is my "nice" list. That's the one that has a second column to it - the gift column. That column is tough.
